I never liked it. It's effective design, but it's lazy. You are interacting with a 2D screen that for the most part gives nothing but visual feedback And are making it look like something from the physical world that moves and clicks and turns under your fingers. Sure it looks like a button or knob or slider so you know how it should behave, but you are not using the medium to it's full potential.

To me, what people who think the state necessary to protect freedom don't seem to get is that the state is the primary aggressor against freedom. No law can stop the state, the only entity that can lawfully infringe on the rights of peaceful people, from using that power.
