either case they'll have to wait for 120 pizzas though... if you have 100 customers all accidentally ordering 30% more pizzas than they intend, on a regular basis, that's just profit for you. as long as you can avoid the logistical nightmare (aka the drop in quality of service) of having to meet peak DDoS-like demand

reminds me of the internship project I got landed once. spaghetti mess of 3k lines where most features didn't work but I had to figure out how they meant for them to work. somehow managed to mostly fix it in 3 months. I was so exhausted I was sleeping immediately upon coming home

~~when they gave me my first pay cheque after hiring me from that internship I cried cuz it felt like an insult for the amount of work I had done lol. careened my mental health for another 6 months after that until JavaScript became easier for me to write than the English language tho~~

I am just monumentally upset by this I don't get back to him for days. because I already did every single thing, and even more. So I just end up quitting / not renewing the contract because just wtf man. I'm overqualified for my own supreme raise and I'm still viewed as shit despite it, seriously?

anyway later I run into a co worker at a metro station, and he's super surprised and stressed / relieved to see me. Seems like nobody told him what happened to me i guess. which is weird to me. Because I am not the company, and it was up to the company if they were going to accept the new raise contract or not. I figured if you were a responsible company you would communicate such things internally, but evidently not. Maybe he thought I got fired. I didn't think our friendship was that close for him to be THAT stressed out by me leaving so I thought it was a little creepy at the time
