Own Blockchain, about 5 different games in unity, monitoring sensors, companion robot, twitch AI streamer, rgb drivers, isometric world map with 700000 tiles, safety systems, twitch bots and twitch rgb controllers...

Countless diverse projects of which 99% are dead.

@Lensflare for me, regarding everything I developed professionally, yup. Or rewritten of whatever. Always something. It's vecause software is a big money hobby often. I worked on so much stuff at the beginning they I knew wouldn't be profitable. Also, some companies just want to have stuff, not thinking about profit. I worked on many financial stuff. Reinventing the wheel.

Orchid, the weird interpreted functional language I'd spent the last 3.5 years on.

I have detailed plans for a new preprocessor design unlike anything I'd seen before but similar in important ways to Lisp and Rust and more usable than the old design. Once I implement that, I'm optimistic that I'll be able to move fast with high level syntax elements and all parts of the stdlib since a big aspect of the preprocessor's responsibilities is precisely to facilitate implementing such syntax elements within libraries.

@jestdotty I haven’t played for years.

Back then I was playing on public servers and it was fun, but then I wanted to play on a private server with a couple of friends.
And I can’t convince any of them to try it out.

I did the tutorials in JS and as you might expect, I hated it.
So for the real game I switched to Kotlin, which compiles to JS.
It was a great dev experience!

I can't host a server though. best way to test is that but honestly docker is no way to distribute a game. it kept just bugging out horribly for me so I just gave up this time around

Working on MMO dev, then procrastinating it by working on another project. Current one is an AI function calling aggregator (can work as both MCP and ai function/tools). Maybe I'll add re-action emojis to snek, that's been on my list for a while
