7 years of innovation and best design teams on the planet... can you tell the difference?

Client: Where are we with the project, it's been a week and I see nothing.
Me: You asked me to do something that was not in the agreed scope of work, which has kept me from starting on the project.
Client: Do I need to plan out everything in advance on paper for you to get it done in a timely manner?
Me: Is that a serious question? Yes, you should. That's the whole point of creating a scope of work. It's to allow me to schedule out the time necessary to build out a product in a "timely manner".
Client: I don't appreciate your attitude. This is not how you should be doing business if you like making money.
Me: I don't appreciate your condescending, unreasonable, dickhead mentality that makes you think it's remotely okay to act like you're better than me. Money doesn't grant you the right to be a dickwad, and just because I'm being paid doesn't mean I have to put up with any level of arrogance or disrespect.
I am in this business to make money, but not at the cost of my dignity and self-respect. You will be receiving a full refund later today, not because I have to provide a refund, but because I never want to communicate with you ever again moving forward. Take your unacceptable bullshit somewhere else.14 -
Customer: I need a program that can do this.
Me: Okay. We can do this. But we recommend you a gui.
Customer: Oh I don‘t need a gui. We have Windows.
Me: you will need a gui. Here you are a dummy programme without a gui. Try it out. Find out yourself.
Customer: I trust you. Dummy is fine. But it’s not ready yet, right?
Me: It’s just a dummy to show you what it means, having ni gui for that.
Customer: all fine i need this programme. Go ahead.
Me codes and silently makes one build with gui... ;) xou know what comes:
Me: here you are your programme.
Customer: how to use it? It is cryptic. A black window opens. I cannot click. The manual is full of text i habve to type. I don’t understand!?
Me: you need a gui.
Customer: Oh. I thought since windows 3.11 everything has one...
Me: pay me bucks I make you the gui.
C: meh. Okay here you are bucks.
Me: take this
C: wow so fast. This is cool. Take my money.
This sort of cognitive dissonance I will never understand. In first case ignoring my hints. In second recognizing my hints were true. But in third forgetting own stupidness and paying me extra-extra for what you ignored? Ethically I hated you so much for ignoring me, that I took your money, but you could have gotten me blaming me not selling you a gui... :D
Have a nice weekend5 -
I wasn't going to post this because I expected loads of hate but fuck it, I'd rather share it anyways. Also take into account that sometimes there's no choice because money is needed or other circumstances :)
This one guy told me to never let down my values and what I stand for if I can afford to do that, no matter what they are.
I'd quit my job over having to use tools like Google or Slack (luckily my company is highly against using Slack and most people have moved to ddg) and as for WhatsApp, I said at my interview that I'd either wanted a business phone for using WhatsApp or I wouldn't use it. Boss said 'thats cool!'
I quote from him(that person who said this to me):
"they force you to use something you're uncomfortable with? Fuck'em. They don't understand your reasons? Their problem.
Even if nobody in the entire world understands/accepts your reasons, doesn't mean they're not valid."29 -
Fixed this assholes phone for her... she proceeds to take the phone and say “thanks for fixing it, it was kind of you to do it for free!”
Uhm, ex-fucking-cuse me?! I run a business, not a god damned charity.
She got me my fucking money.104 -
Manager: Oh my god have you heard of libraries? I don’t even need to hire developers anymore, everything can just be done with code other people have already built for free
Dev: Well you actually cause a bit of technical debt when you use an abstrac—
Manager: EVERY TICKET SHOULD BE DONE USING LIBRARIES GOING FORWARD.
Dev: …This is going to implode…Can we at least fund some of the libraries we end up using?
Manager: WHAT? NO! Open source developers are suckers, what idiot puts code on the internet for free?? I shouldn’t be required to fund their stupidity. Let’s just take their stuff and make money with it.
Dev: *Phone rings 100th time today from recruiter*. One sec I have to take this call……It’s urgent.13 -
Today I realized that I hit a total burnout. Last 3 years were extremely stressful for me (4 jobs in 3 different countries, exhausting and toxic relationship, bad habits). Last 7 months are the worst. I became lonely isolated and miserable. I learned to rely purely on stress, determination and validation to get through my days. Was supressing my emotions for a long time just to focus on making the money. Its time to break the cycle.
Im done with this. Next week Im quitting my fulltime job. Saved enough money for starting capital of my own dev services company. Built three projects that generate stable income to cover my living costs. Now finally I can take a long break to recover from this burnout and to heal myself. That poor persons mentality that I had from my poor family has been shattered. I achieved what I wanted in terms of having the money and gathered enough experience necessary to survive anywhere.
I managed to get through all this shit on my own with barely any support. People around me were draining me more than actually helping me. But I managed to do it and now its time to focus on myself, to heal and restore love for living. Im safe now.10 -
Ok, so I have a SAAS website where users pay a daily fee to use my platform as there fundraiser landing page.
A new client comes, asks for a discount, and got a 50% off because his brother was a previous client.
Him: Can you please add a list of the days of the year so a donor can donate a day?
Me: Sure, sounds like a good idea, and will probably take me about a week to implement with testing etc. And so I want $$ (hourly rate * one week) for the work.
Him: Don't bluff me I understand a bit in programming, it shouldn't take you more than an hour, and I am paying you, so you should do it for free.
Me: Ok, here is a fair deal, since you understand in programming, build it for me, I give you two weeks and I will pay you double what I am asking for.
Him: I don't understand enough to do it myself, I just estimated how much work it is.
Me: Forget about it, if you want me to build you this feature, you pay. If not you can go to my competition happily.
Who needs bad clients at all?
Why do they think they know everything?
And why don't they understand that time is money?5 -
Didn't want to post it as there's been already a lot of posts like this. But I just can't help myself to rant over this. This happened yesterday. I helped him earlier with his phone.
Friend of my dad: Hey, I need your help with my laptop I bought from eBay.
Me: *flashbacks of devRant posts*
Him: Everything works. It's just that nothing comes up in display.
Me: Okay, you need to take that to a repair shop. If at least something came up on screen I could help.
Him: Aren't you a computer engineer? I bought this because I knew you can fix it.
Me: *more flashbacks*
Him: You gotta help me with this. I can't lose money on this
Me: You didn't even ask me anything before buying. Ask your buyer if they have a 30 day return policy.
Him: Why are paying this much to study Computer Engineering? I'll talk to your dad.
This people man. I told my dad and he never received his call anymore7 -
This is my first post on devRant!
Story time:
It was on my first job as a developer, learning a lot but getting paid less than 50% of the minimum monthly wage of my country.
It was settled in the interview that as I gained more experience, I could handle more projects and earn more money.
At the time, I was living with my parents and didn't have to pay rent and some stuff, so I was like "Well, I'm gonna learn a lot and, if I put a lot of effort into it, soon I'll be making more money".
We agreed that I'll only develop, but 4 months into the job, I was already going to clients
and started coding there (having the client on my back every minute, not being able to work properly) and fixing some computer/network issues they had,
because my boss said I should do it.
Things at home started to go south, and suddenly I needed more money, so I kept doing the work and getting paid a little bit more
A year goes by, devs came and go beacuse of the work/payment situation, and I was still there.
From my first "paycheck" to the last day I never got paid on time, and that was the same for everybody else
The last month I was there, I had a job offer with a better salary and weekends free, so I wanted to take it (I worked saturdays there).
We were working at our biggest clients place at the time (a hospital, working in the server room, desk and chair were a total crap),
so I wanted to have a good conversation with my boss and tell him whats up, after all, I was really grateful for the job despite all things.
We headed outside and started talking. He basically begged me to stay, said that he will pay me on time and offered me more money (less than the other company was offering me),
and that he needed me to finish the implementation and "minor issues" with the app.
I thought about it for a couple of days, and decided to stay. I politely rejected the job offer, and even recommended someone else.
As the days passed, regret was building fast inside of me, until the day that I was supposed to get paid.
He never showed up to the client, told me in a call that he will be there sometime in the morning, that he had the money for me.
So I stayed until my day ended, and still no sign of him. I had no money on me, needed some for gas so I could go, and I called him 5 times.
He picked up the last time, talks to me like nothing is happening and I started to shout at him like I never shouted to anybody before,
got all the things of my chest, and when I was done, he said that he will send the money to my account right away.
This happened on a Saturday, so I quit the following Monday, and lost the other job offer.6 -
Take my dollar. Take. My. Dollar.
TAKE MY DOLLAR. I WANT A DR PEPPER. THIS IS A GOOD DOLLAR. ACCEPT IT. YOU ARE MY MECHANICAL BITCH. I WISH TO EXCHANGE MONEY FOR GOODS. I WILL LITERAL-
Oh, okay. You took it. That's what I thought.4 -
Client: Hi Johny, we finnaly finished design of our eshop. Half of year of hard work. Can you code it in week? We have deadline. :(
I: Sure, i can code in speed of light.
Client: How about money?
I: Tripple of sallary.
Client: What?
I: My sallary also grow in speed of light.
Some clients can not understand they can't throw shits on my head. Take it, hire someone else or stop giving mi impossible conditions.5 -
I hate how some recruiters treat you.
I get it - I'm not your client, the person hiring me is. I get it - at the end of the day I'm just a big bag of money in your eyes.
But at least treat me like a person. I may have a family I need to take care of and the carrot you're dangling in front of me may mean the difference between me living comfortably and me being homeless. So after an interview even if it didn't go well let me know. DON'T avoid my phone calls or emails because you don't want to deal with breaking the news to me and instead hope you just never hear from me again.2 -
YouTube, I called it. I freaking called it! This is an old story, it was back when Cryptominer via browser became a thing.
Me: "How long do you thing it will take until YouTube advertisements will contain cryptominer?"
IT WAS A F*CKING JOKE YOUTUBE, I DIDN'T KNOW YOUR ADVERTISEMENT POLICIES ARE REALLY THAT BAD!
A month later, after I said it to an friend, I had increased lags with literally anything I was doing. After some days of research (because I didn't pay that much attention to it at first), I could pin down the cause to my YouTube tab in my browser (because I listen to 24/7 music livestreams). And I was like:
Me: "I bet this is because of cryptominer. I bet this is because of cryptominer."
Guess what. About two weeks later YouTube confessed. Cryptominer ads were possible.
I wonder how much money these companies made...4 -
➡️You Are Not A Software Developer⬅️
When I became a developer, I thought that my job is to write software. When my customer had a problem, I was ready to write software that solves that problem. I was taught to write software.
But what customers need is not software. They need a solution to their problem. Your job is to find the most cost-effective solution, what software often is not.
According to the universal law of software development, more code leads to more bugs:
e = mc²
Or
errors = (more code)²
The number of bugs grows with the amount of code. You have to prioritize, reproduce and fix bugs.
The more code you write, the more your team and the team after it has to maintain. Even if you split the system into micro services, the complexity remains.
Writing well-tested, clean code takes a lot of time. When you’re writing code, other important work is idle. The work that prevents your company from becoming rich.
A for-profit company wants to make money and reduce expenses. Then the company hires you to solve problems that prevent it from becoming rich. Confused by your job title, you take their money and turn it into expensive software.
But business has nothing to do about software. Even software business is not about software. Business is about making money.
Your job is to understand how the company is making money, help make more money and reduce expenses. Once you know that, you will become the most valuable asset in the company.
Stop viewing yourself as a software developer. You are a money maker.
Think about how to save and make money for your customers.
Find the most annoying problem and fix it:
▶️Is adding a new feature too costly? Solve the problem manually.
▶️Is testing slow? Become a tester.
▶️Is hiring not going well? Speak at a meetup and advertise your company.
▶️Is your team not productive enough? Bring them coffee.
Your job title doesn’t matter. Ego doesn’t matter either.
Titles and roles are distracting us from what matters to our customers – money.💸
You are a money maker. Thinking as a money maker can help choose the next skill for development. For example:
Serverless: pay only for resources you consume, spend less time on capacity planning = 💰
Machine Learning: get rid of manual decision-making = 💰
TDD: shorter feedback cycle, fewer bugs = 💰
Soft Skills: inspire teammates, so they are more productive and happy = 💰
If you don’t know what to learn next — answer a simple question:
What skills can help my company make more money and reduce expenses?
Very unlikely it’s another web framework written in JavaScript.

Me: Yes, yes it can do that thing.
Prospective: Great, fantastic thank you please take my money.
Me: Awesome.

Windows 10 'App Store' Stole My Money.
So I work a 40 hour work week, sometimes more, same as anyone, on my feet, all day.
I get home, buy a little $3.99 app. Won't install. Check it again won't install. I check some guides. Follow all the standard commands, my purchase won't install. Use the tools. won't install.
Naturally I sent off what I'm good at, some hate filled invective
For fucks sake. I'm exhausted, have insomnia and want to wind down. And here microsoft is killing 32bit libraries to dispose of competing services like steam (also fuck gabe in his fat asshole) but I digress.
And they expect us to use their services? Spend our hard earned *fucking money*..and spend half an hour on their dumpster fire fucking 'walled garden' with nothing to fucking show for it?
No refund button. No chat option. Just a fucking feedback hub. Look at it some time. JUST LOOK AT IT. The motherfucking *feedback* hub *frozeup* in the process of my feedback. Microsoft is a sewer of negligent business practices and incompetence.
So I've chosen now to aim two heavy ion cannons at them and warned them too. Two twitter accounts, one with almost 10k followers and another with 15k.
Should have just offered a manual download button microsoft.
My money would have been better spent on alcohol. Cheap alcohol. It's not like it's a lot of money and I don't buy a lot online, but it's the principle. You're fucking *payment* process worked *just fucking fine*.
Anyway can anyone calculate the monetary damage a cumulative quarter million views over the course of a month will do to the reputation of the windows store in dollar amounts?
I'm betting it's going to be a lot fucking more than three fucking ninety nine.
Don't worry microsoft, I'm gonna take it out of your sweet fucking hide.22 -
Most of the people sending me work offers have something to do with wordpress.
Man iongiveafuck anymore. Some dude offers me $500 for something that would take me 5 hours to make again and I am gonna swallow my pride and code that shit in wordpress.
Money > your fucking disdain for frameworks/cms/lang/suckingdick/whatever.
Which also means thas that I have to get crzcking with coding in wordpress again since I don't remember much.8 -
Best work prank?
Get a random friend to burst into my home office during a zoom call, wearing a ski mask, gun in hand, speak foreign language, and drag me out of the room. Have another masked friend go up the camera and threaten to kill me if my coworkers go to the police. Disappear for a week, then email my boss saying I need 100k or they’ll start killing my family members one by one, take the money, then go on vacation while I fill out job applications. Get a new job and repeat the prank every few months until I retire.5 -
First (procedural) c++ lectures:
Prof: K guys, go ahead and attempt the homework
Students: sir, how can we have 1 file per exercise?
P: oh, you can't, just make one huge file with multiple functions and rename them to "main" whenever you wanna run them
Me: WHY DO I EVEN PAY FOR THIS BULLSHIT
Ps: not allowed to use classes as that's too hard...8 -
Woo, rant time.
I've recently changed jobs to a new company due to a number of factors at my old job. I didn't tell my old boss (let's call him X) my expected salary, nor did I tell him which company I was going to.
However, I've been informed by someone that still works there that X has been discussing my new wage in front of everyone; he was telling everyone that I'm going to lose money by moving job and that I made a stupid decision.
I didn't leave due to money, it was due to X's inability to take constructive criticism, the constant subtle sexism of the office and just a generally bad overall feeling about the job/office going forward. Yes, I will admit that money did have a minor part in my decision to leave but I didn't verbalise that to anyone in the office, and I made X aware that my departure wasn't to do with money. I left on good terms.
I feel as though it was wrong of X to talk about his opinions on my new job in front of my ex-colleagues and friends. I don't know, maybe this is the norm and I've just been living in a cave before this, or maybe my last boss was just a bit of a douchenugget. Has anyone else had this experience?
I've got to meet up with everyone from my last place tomorrow to properly say goodbye and things.. but I'm not sure how to approach my old boss when leaving drinks are held now. Should I say anything? Should I just act as though I know nothing about it?
What would you guys do in this situation???19 -
So today I realized that Im not happy.
When I was a kid I wanted to do many things because I had time and energy but I had no money. Now that Im an adult and I have the money, I have no energy and no will power to try and have personal life in these few hours left of my day. I spend 9 hours at work everyday and totally 1hr 30min is wasted on commuting.
I spent 4 years in uni between lectures and working on my side projects, and I really believed that after uni I will get a job and my life work balance will improve.
After uni I spent 2 years working abroad in 3 jobs at 3 countries. I work as android dev and now Im making a really decent salary.
However Im not happy at all. I realized that life is not about the money. Im changing countries like socks and dont even feel the need to socialize or enjoy my life anymore. Im european and these other eu countries are not that different at all. It came to a point where relationships are meaningless to me. I became an office drone who cares only about work and outside of work I care only about my projects and more work.
At this point im only 25 years old with around 2 years of experience and money is really good, but fuck it Im so tired of being an emigrant and having no stability in life. Im so drained. I spent past 6 years (4 in uni combined with side projects and 2 years working in 3 jobs in different countriee) working my ass off and lying to myself that after the next big thing Im gonna take a break and enjoy life. But its never enough. I dont want to hit 30s or 40s and realize that I wasted my life on pursuing money and didnt get to enjoy life..
Im really considering taking a 6-12 months vacation. I need to find myself. Probably going back to my own country. Just learn how to enjoy life, attend workshops, get to know new city area, meet new people, do some interesting hobbies. Maybe do a little freelance (max 10hrs a week).
Im tired of feeling like I need to make as much money as I can and learn as much about my work as I can. Its not rewarding because its never enough.
Whats the point in that money if I cant enjoy it?4 -
Who cares about living longer, with more money and not bzing ill? If I had a wish I'd get my oN room of hyperbolic time so I'd get to finish what I want and do stuff I know it'd take YEARS to do (i.e. read everything DC and Marvel ever released)
But most importantly, I would be able to finish my side projects.

My sister is getting married tomorrow. My cousin will get married in 3 weeks.. a good friend of mine just became a mom.
They’re all about my age.
This made me realize i only have about 2 friends which I see once every few months, don’t meet any new people, don’t take care of my physical health and haven’t been in a relationship for about 7 years by now.
I started working as a dev 8 years ago and really sacrificed my life to the 2 companies I worked for.
I own nice cars and make good money (relatively spoken) , but for me I know I really have to get my shit together and start to actually get a personal / social life.
So I decided to quit my job and move to another country where I feel like I fit in (posted about the idea to do this a while ago and devs here were super supportive, thanks for that guys)
From now on, I’ll make sure to have a good work-life balance and take more care of myself.
Otherwise, success and money ain’t worth shit..
A good weekend to all of you and happy coding.3 -
I just got offered my first position for a Junior developer gig. they are offering me more money than I expected and otherwise I'm super amped to take it.
what makes me nervous is its my first programming position. I have an IT/Programming bachelor's but not a pure Computer Science degree.
I was asked no technical questions and I don't know if it was clear that I'm very much looking for entry-level work. I guess the fear of failure is creeping up on me.9 -
Expat issues of the month is that the HR is taking its sweet time, while I'm trying to find a house and probably need to provide employment certificate or some shit.
So basically, I'll arrive in a month and either be homeless, crash on a friend's at least an hour and half away by PT, or pay for hotel or airbnb.
... Heaven and hell, could you please work together on solving this, particularly the house issue? Because neither am I made of money nor my nerves can currently take this, specially with this upcoming surgery thing. 🙏5 -
I just decided to take some time off from work, and use my savings to survive next months. I have been dealing with work related problems for a few years now, and since last year I was sure I needed time to recover my health and improve my skills, to get better job opportunities.
I was trying to balance my life and my time, working a bit less, trying to rest, study, and so on. I was hopeful I could achieve my goals just fine with some adjustments. But now... I just don't care.
Last Thursday my mother was diagnosed with cancer.
Two weeks ago, my only brother lost his job.
The same happened with my bf, few months ago, and he needed to move to another state to get a new job.
There is so much going on... Sometimes I just feel like panicking.
It's sad to fear the future, and deal with so much uncertainty.
It's hard to deal with work and money issues. It's even harder to deal with serious health issues.
I hope things will get better somehow, but I needed to vent this. Sometimes life can be a bitch.5 -
I don't like noob techies who are into IT for the money.
My friend is jealous of me and he wants to get to my level. I told him that he should take Oracle certifications if he wants a good chance to a raise or a promotion (at least, it's a well-respected series of certs and everyone I know who took them got serious salary increases and respect from their managers).
For example, I studied for 12 weeks, for 12 hours per day for the OCA. He thinks he can just quickly cram a cert in three days and get big money. Nope.
This guy failed Network+ countless times. I remember he wanted to quickly get his CCNA when he barely understands how folders work.
The level of foolishness is amazing..
Yeah, anyway..15 -

older clients are returning with my old projects and asking for improvements, I did buy a few very shitty scripts from the internet/ and used one of my friends custom php cms for the other client because I REALLY needed money and they needed the projects yesterday.
Now I'm looking at the code and can't start working because of how messy it all is, I want to remake it all with a good framework and system, but it would take too much time (and they want it fast) and they wouldn't want to pay for the improvements because what they have now works..
I guess the shit you throw out when you're younger does come flying back like a boomerang..3 -
Simple there are four other developers on my team. Yet, I do all of the work.
I'm picky about spesific tasks, so I would rather do THOSE by myself, by we have a Trello board where I've marked the tasks I want to do myself, and everything else is open for grabs.
Some tasks I will asign others (one developer specifically) and days will pass and no code gets touched. So I end up having to take it over. :|
Like, guys, I get it. You have other things to do. But could you atleast *try* and help me without me having to ask? If not, then why did you even sign up? I want to get this out the door so our project doesn't go under and we can make some money. I have other things I would like to do as well, you know. Like take a day off, or spend time with my girlfriend.9 -
Applying for jobs
Apply for anything that looks like I have any kind of shot
Get reply from one company
"Hi. What is your salary expectation?"
"x"
Nothing for 6 days
Reach out again "Hi. I'm guessing you've gone with someone else as I've heard nothing back"
"No your salary expectation was a bit high"
"Okay well, what are you offering"
"47% of X as this is a junior position"
Like...
Firstly, X is what I was making at my last job
Secondly, you can see how much experience I have. You know I'm gonna be asking for 2-3 year money not intern money.
Thirdly, all they had to do after my first email was reply with "That's bit much, here's what we can offer, are you still interested?"
So yea, in general, I hate the salary expectation question. I don't want to sell myself short but I'm also currently in the take what I get position. So if you ask me, I'm gonna tell you what I was last making. I think that was a reasonable number and I know everyone has been hit by the pandemic so I'm not asking for more.
Just advertise jobs with a damn salary range.
You know which jobs do have a salary range? The senior positions. You know who does know how to negotiate? Seniors13 -
Fuck sake, so my bank has been migrating/rolling out new IT system and app/site have been broken for about a week (others noted evidence of devs debugging in production)
Assuming I don't lose my money as some mischievous assholes will inevitably exploit the fuck up, and rob the bank, I will be moving my funds to a different bank...
In mean time I'm trying to prepare for uni, and they're making a ton of semi-random changes in addition to rolling out a site with course details and info along those line, and good fucking god is it bad.
Is is slow as fuck? Check. Does it use never-seen-before naming for standard things? Check! Is the UI pulled from late 90's? YOOU BETCHA! Are the pages bloated with unnecessary content? Fuck yeah! Do I get SQL exceptions when I finally locate my course? Of course I do. Does clicking "back" take me back to the landing page instead of previous page, when I'm several steps deep? .....
I could keep going, but don't feel like ranting and feel more like punching someone in the throat.repeatedly. -
Lost my main job due to corona. All I have left now is my few personal gaming projects which generate decent money (usually around 2k euro a month but during corona jumped 3x 4x). I am trying my best to take care of my projects now because its all whats left. Last 2 weeks spent applying for jobs and did really well in 2 of them however didnt received an offer because they cancelled recruitment proccess all together. Meanwhile my gf lost her job and spends most of time in home. While Im trying to cashout as much as I can from my projects so that we could have a better future, she started nagging me about how I work too much and seems depressed. Srsly this fcking pandemic is killing me. Working from home is already hard enough, but being stuck in home with no opportunity to have time for myself while Im the only grown up is fucking killing me. Fuck off everyone Im tired of your needs, I have my own needs as well. If Im telling you that I need a couple weeks to finish my projects then fuck off leave me in peace. 2 weeks wont change shit but at least I would be able to make money for our house women. Stop being needy and start being fucking supportive or this will not going to work out.6

Heading to japan on the 12th, my first solo trip ever. I always wanted to visit it, but now because of my developer paycheck and me being annoyed because no one ever has the money and/or time I am heading there alone.
I think it will be a very enriching experience. I always felt like I'm often dependent on others so I am trying to take more steps to improve that.9 -
According to my doctor and chiropracter I'm burned out right now.
But I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. But my concentration and productivty have been gone for a few weeks now.
I mainly work alone and I'm currently trying to complete 4 projects. But I just can't seem to get it done anymore.
I know that when I'm in my peak I would only need 2 weeks for it. But I have been trying for 2.5 months know and getting nowhere.
Not really where the problem originated but probably with the ever changing specs and my main client that hasn't paid in 5 months. But he accounts for 80% of my profits, but the internal politics of the coperate stuff is making stuff hard.
Not really sure how to go from here yet, need to finish this but can't focus. Can't hire someone since my reseveres are gone and I can't take a holiday and relax because of the money and the voice in my head that says you have to get this done.
But the feeling of wanting to work but not getting anything done, like walking into a mental wall. Makes me wanne run into a real wall head first. Stupid body listen to reason so we can go on a holiday and relax!3 -
So it's summer holiday now, and I'm working about 3 days a week doing some c++ qt stuff. Why does everyone I talk to tell me I should "take it easy" or "enjoy my freedom" instead of "working so hard". I'd be bored out of my mind if I didn't (no I do not have a social life, nor do I enjoy basking on a beach burning cancer into my skin in some foreign country). In short, I dislike the dutch mentality of throwing away your money each summer holiday to be bored in another country for a week and telling everyone who doesn't off.6

about 2 weeks ago my mom's friend's family visit our house. one moment they introduce their brilliant son going to take Computer Science Major, and they didn't understand why, and apparently they are some kind of ignorant family. So my role here are to advertise and promote the world of CS (since i know their son are good at programming). one moment i am diving to deep into my own speech, i am like :
"I believe you guys using facebook, and Whatsapp all the time **give a smirk and sarcastic look* (which they actually did), that is our work there. and maybe you (my mom's friend) love to play candy crush with my mom, yes that is also our work, and we got a lot of money from you buying the candy to unlock the hard level (the microtransaction thing) MUAHAHAHAHA !" ---
and yes i am laughing like a monster in a film. and suddenly that becoming the most awkward thing i ever had.
and i don't know should i feel bad or not introducing CS like that.3 -
I have the same problem as @linuxxx does. Buying things when I really don't need to.
I went to a mall with a friend today because his headset was literally falling apart. We both bought new headsets. Great.
Lesson learned: Don't leave your house unless necessary.3 -
"Can I have an app? It's a million dollar idea: you take a picture of yourself and it tells you if you're pregnant or just fat. I don't have any money at the moment but I'm willing to give you 5%, maybe less if my friend wants to join. plus, no ads, and make it a free app so it will be liked alot."
Can you shut the fuck up? do you have any idea what the fuck you're talking about? that's the most fucking ridiculous idea I've ever heard. how the hell would it even work?5 -

I’ve been ranting & posting a lot about my career, relocation, work life balance etc. in the last year.
Just wanna say, relocating was probably the best decision I’ve ever made. Professionally and personally..
Although it was a bit scary and I didn’t have any money left after relocating..
It’s 6PM, I’m sitting in the garden, listen to some classical music and don’t spend a single thought on work.
Tomorrow I will arrive in the office around 7:45, I will do my work. My boss recognizes my teams effort and thanks all of us for the work on the end of each sprint.
There are no personal fights in the team, everyone is getting along with the others.
I do some good work, get a good salary and don’t have to mix up work and personal life.
The people here are awesome, everyone is welcoming and supportive.
If everything goes as planned, I’ll be able to buy my dream car by the end of summer because the government doesn’t take all of my money. They take their taxes before I get my salary and the money I get is the money I HAVE..
Ireland is awesome.
At this point: thanks for the Irish guys here who provided information about work and life over here! And also to the other devs who supported me here👍2 -
I was still a 2nd year college student back then. Someone approached me about a personal branding site, with quite a generous fee for a poor student like me.
I took the job. Surprisingly she paid me in advance. About a week later, when I wanted to clear up some requirements with her, she disappeared. Didn't read any of my messages. Didn't respond to my calls, let alone emails.
Some time later, I got busy with exams and college stuffs. Welp, I let go of the project, even erasing the github repo to make some room for new private repos on the way.
A year later (yes you read it right), she came back.
Messaged me on WhatsApp.
"Hey dude, how you doin? Sorry about last time, I needed some time to take care of stuffs.
So how's the website going?".
By that time, even the domain name I bought for her site had expired.
I didn't know what to say, so I just shut up.
"Remember that I paid you in advance. Either finish the site or give me my money back."2 -

What a fucking son of a bitch day...
I’m hungover as fuck so i don’t wanna drive, so I want to pay parking for a few hours.
I didn’t find my fucking key, when I pulled up the couch to look under it, my XPS fell of it and smashes the screen. At that moment my landlord knocks on the door to take a look at the kitchen ceiling and t he kitchen is a fucking MESS! You know when you’re drunk and get a late night cooking attack? Yea, that sort of mess.
Completely fucked in my head I got the reserve key for the car, unlocked it and the bloody alarm went of because the keys battery is empty. So managed to turn it off, went back into my apartment and found the key BEHIND the motherfucking couch.. BEHIND THE COUCH, HOW WOULD IT EVEN GET THERE? Ffs...
I’ll just continue drinking now and hope tomorrow is gonna be a better day.. and order a new screen for my laptop, it’s not at all like I’m short on money this month anyway..4 -
you have an intern working in your company, who came in for 3-4 months internship in September, with a notice in advance that he will take 1 month or more of leaves for exams in Nov-dec.
He reminds you in the beginning of October that he would be going on off due to a lot of college stuff happening on alternate days , starting November.
You and he come up to an agreement that its best to free him from his role in october end and he may join gain when he is done with his college work and could come back fulltime
He works full time in September-October with dedication, leaves with complete reports and submitting his code in November.
NOW DO YOU HAVE A FUCKING RIGHT TO HALT MY SALARY FROM OCTOBER?
YOUR FUCKING HRs HAVE BEEN IGNORING HALF OF MY CALLS AND GIVING LAME EXCUSES IN OTHER HALF.
I WAS NOT A FULL TIME EMPLOYEE YOU ASSHOLES, AND YET I FOLLOWED ALL YOUR STUPID RULES REGARDING NOTICE PERIOD AND STUFF! GIMME MY MONEY :/5 -
i've got my first job after getting out of college. not a great package. I'm learning more, will get experience. i have plans for freelancing and seek a better job. I'm an Indian.
what really upsets me is that I just discovered that I've no knowledge in finance. I'm feeling insecure, afraid and depressed. I'm browsing for some youtube channels, books and podcasts to get some some knowledge about finance and real estate.
all I have is a saving account in SBI bank, I just know how to take money out of it with my debit card and transfer money with online banking
how do u guys do ur finance, where do u invest. do u invest in stock market. insurance?? help me out. i'm fucked.
never thought i can be so stupid, I hate myself, never even thought I'll need financial intelligence.
are there more people like me.
i'm just so down and feeling suicidal.8 -
Heard its a norm from my ex-classname that its a norm be paid with equity instead of a fixed salary. whats ur take on this? please share. I for one cant imagine how i am suppose to survive without money.

After working 5 years as a developer it is starting to really bug me that my clients (who I work for almost as long) don't take my word for it when I say "that's not possible".
Of course I don't mean that it is impossible per se but rather that this feature costs to much time and therefore money to even research if there is a workaround for it and they would never want it, if they knew the cost. Still, even when I tell them that this way, I have to explain this over 3 meetings with 1-3 days where I am told to try it anyway (which ends with the same arguments I told them in the first meeting) while I could be doing work that really is worth my time and their money.3 -
I f&#king hate it here. I am just eyeing to exit as soon as 1 year of my contractual obligation is over. My employer is a good employer. Provides good benefits but I just can't take the bureaucrazy in here. Just yesterday, had to ask another team to deploy objects on our behalf as they are the schema owner. They did it and asked us to review it today. But how? We don't even have manual access to the schema, because we are not the content owner and security! But that's fine, I can always query the catalog views and check the metadata and should be able to conclude the deployment. Right? NOOOO. Because security! Of what? Column names?

You know what really grinds my gears?
Executive bathrooms. They get gold and marble and all kinds of fancy shit and the rest of us get a linoleum shit box. Who do they think they are? Are they too good to shit and piss with their developers. You know...the people who make the shit that makes them money?
Executives are just overpaid suits who do next to nothing while the rest of us carry their fat asses across the finish line and they are too good to take a shit with us common folk.12 -

Fuck stupid managers.
My current agency tried to create a bundle of generic Microservices with the hope of save time and money on future projects. That was two years ago (i was working here from 4 months ago).
What they have now? well, a sort of distributed monolyth were if one service goes down, everything else fails, infinite technical debt, no security policies (yeah, all the apis are open!!!) Business rules on the frontend . . .
And what the stupid manager say? "Everything must be ok because i designed it very well, i research a lot for this"
Stupid boomer.
PD: Yeah, despite the fact he is judt a manager, he take the responsibility to design the full architecture, idk why no one srops him.4 -
(This conversation is going in WhatsApp)
So a friend of mine asks me if i can build an app for a restaurant to place orders etc.
Me: “Sure, can i have his/her phone number to get in touch with them?”
Friend: “uhmm.. i’d prefer that the communication goes via myself. So what do you want to ask to them?”
Me: “i think that it’ll be easier if i can discuss their wishes and the costs directly with them. Don’t you think?”
He did not answered my question yet.
My question is to you guys; is it wise to take a project from someone that i don’t even know..? Probably my friend is willing to earn some money by raising the price that i ask.
Would you take this project?
Tips-/advices please.
Thanks.11 -
*background: client has told account manager he's not paying any more money till his site is done, not only is it the most in-depth WordPress site we've made, but we'll beyond the scope of the signed contract. He sent a few more edits over the weekend which I ignored because we have a team meeting later to discuss he client and where to go from here.
account manager comes in and says he has a call from client looking for me. I tell him that he should probably take a message as I'm not in the mood to be belittled by the client and we have a meeting later to discuss him anyways, we'll call him back.
AM: Come on, he says it'll only take a second and I'll be here so we can do it on speaker.
he transfers the call and we start talking in my office, before the client has even finished his first remark, the AM has left the room. Now we have the least social person in the office talking to the client when both parties are less than happy.
I managed to keep my cool and not tell the client to fuck off, and made sure I was clear about not promising any of his new edits.
Phrases like "that will take time and money" were used a lot.
There may be shots fired at the meeting later.4 -
Fun fact: banks won't let me take loans. Any kind of loans.
Why? It's not because I have a history of missing payment schedules. It's because I NEVER had a credit card or loans — I paid for everything with cold hard cash my whole life. But it all changed when I fried a charging controller on my laptop, so I needed a new one fast. I was in between jobs then. So, I took a loan for a new laptop, one thousand dollars, a large sum for me back then. I found a job and covered that loan ahead of schedule, in three months instead of one year. In total, my bank made a mere $5 off of me.
Banks now know I won't bring any kind of interest in whatsoever, as I never miss my payments. So, they decided to quit on me completely.
That's a proof that banks don't want you to pay on time — they want you to delay your payments and let your interest build up, so you're forced to take new loans to cover old ones. They want you to pay interest forever, having barely enough money to cover interest, but not the loan itself.

Anyone here making big bucks working for a small company? I've interned at startups and worked full time for fortune 500's, but I'm considering looking at smaller companies in the future just because the corporate environment kind of burns me out. What's it like being a senior level developer for a smaller company? Is the money typically there? And in your experience, what about quality and expectation of work? I would love to have some more say and passion into what I'm building and take home a big chunk of what a business earns but I don't know how realistic that is.
I'd also like to start my own e-commerce company but as a web developer with 0 business / marketing experience that seems far off lol11 -
I have been a professional Dev for about a year for a cyber security startup. Unfortunately, startup died do to finance mismanagement. My lead Dev said that he wanted to start a co-op contract business and since we all work great together than we should stick around. So we tried to obtain contracts and it is going much slower than imagine. I am going on my second month of no work or contract work. I'm working on my own site to do some freelance work on the side for myself offering ever, marketing and ERP software services. That is the goal for side hustle. However, for the main hustle well I'm stressed now of being home and we'll meetings not turning into money. I actually want to call it quits and do my own thing and look for normal gig. It just feels rough as he has been my mentor and offered me my first software gig. I don't feel like I own anyone anything I'm regards money or time. However, I do feel bad of I take off it will hurt them from being able to handle larger contract if they do get one.
Note: I'm pulling from my savings

I work with a few 'idea' and marketing guys. The quicker we can turn out a project, the quicker we can make money. Some days, I can get 3 quick, easy projects out. But sometimes, these guys get 'ideas' that are out of the norm so they can take a few days to get going.
One of the guys had an idea I knew was going to take longer than a day, especially with the rest of my daily tasks. This guy loves reading 'how to run a business' books and tries to say we need it today, 'nothing is impossible' (because it was in his book).
I explain reality to him and he gets all pissy. The following day he tried again, with something that would take less time. 'so, which one do you want? Yeah, I can do that one quicker, but the first one will take longer then.'
This guy don't get it. I will burn everyone of his fucking books.2 -
Hate my fucking ‘Logic’ class. Teaching us if, or, and, etc statements and when something is true or false so far. Fair enough, part of logic. But fucking 6 classes on the same topic, isn’t helpful. Especially since it feels like the same shit I learnt myself when I was 13 and a junior in High School.
People are all surprised at it, even the Computer Science majors. This shouldn’t be a shock to you on how these statements work if you’ve coded for a few minutes in the University. You should’ve learnt it in your first programming class.
Ugh, just how I feel about this class. Have to take it to get my degree, otherwise I would’ve dropped it by now >.> Waste of time and money for me.12 -
I made my passion my job, programming servers & web dev. Although it has been productive economically it has sucked the fun out of programming servers for me...so as a way to rediscover my passion I'm giving game dev a try. After a couple of weekends playing with a game engine this is what I've got, a monkey dev with a suit that jumps from project cabinet to project cabinet avoiding hazards, drinking coffee and trying to make some money (someone told me I should express myself and I took that personally).
I'm pretty much done but the hazard placeholders (a box and an arrow) don't convince me so I wanted to see if my fellow disenfranchised developers had some ideas of what my developer should be avoiding/being hit by, preferably something I could draw easily since as you can see I'm not much of an artist although I've also though of just words falling like "deadline" or something.
Anyway any feedback is welcome, take it ez I've never drawn anything more than a stickman and this is my first attempt at something playable. Small Rant plus question. Happy Monday.

What is the probability of alien rootkit signal that would be intercepted by satellite and then executed on modern computers to create AGI that can use cloud computing and digital currency to take over our world ?
From my perspective pretty high 🤣🤣🤣
Let’s convince some government people and create intergalactic cyber attack defense institution, that would keep earth safe from alien invasion, with high money grants so we can prevent those threats.
Maybe Ernest Cline Armada is already a thing.

Continuation of the events ranted here: https://devrant.com/rants/9895220/...
In a turn of events and very emotional moments of human admissions, it turned out that the team leader in question is in fact suffering a lot on a personal level. Not to detail here but suffice to say that, if his story is true, is enough to make everyone have a very short fuse.
He - eventually - admitted his wrongdoings, asked/begged me to stay, promised on his life and soul to never communicate unprofessionally ever again, to take a long vacation to mourn and reflect and will consider relinquishing the position of team leader for my team and just focus on the other one he manages.
I considered this a win. I stood my ground, made very clear the terms on how I continue working in the organization, the project, and with him, and kept my client and money rolling.
That being said if it ever happens once more. I immediately resign and he will be left without any chance of recovery. -
Friends/Seniors : "Hey, you should take these courses. They are easy and you can get easily an A!"
Who the fuck decide what optional courses to take based on if it's easy or not?!
Students take them because :
a. They are interested in the subjects
b. Knowledge/skills after attending the courses will be beneficial for future career.
I put my money more on option b though, i.e I'd rather get C's in courses that I found it useful, than getting A's in useless courses.
(Btw, my avg grade is just a little above Cs)
If my sole purpose was just to get straight A's, I would enroll in liberal art courses instead of this stressing half-CS course we're in.
You're a joke to yourself, that's why I don't hang out with you.3 -

After coding, cooking/ book reading is my favorite hobby.
Before last 3 month I took dcsn to give a shot to my other hobby cooking and pause on coding for few months.
I decided to give 100days to my cafe.
Arranging money and perfect location took 2 months , on 16 july I started my cafe not so fancy, just sweet simple.
Means 30 days we're completed,
I was earning 1000 inr as software developer, i am earning 10000 inr daily . My net profit is 1500inr
Moral of the story
Don't hesitate to take risk
Believe on yourself
Never never never start with partnership
Currently I have to pay 1.5 lakh to my ex business partner who left cafe in first 15 days

Forget personal life. Your business is your priority.
Not spend even १ full day with my family and gf in last 3 months.

I am able to work 15 hours on my pet project then take a short walk outside and feel like a balanced man, but even just an hour on a commercial project is a massive effort even though the code is clean, the stack is modern, I'm good friends with the client and I also like the concept. The mere fact that I'm doing it for money takes the fun out of it.3

Hi guys! I need your help.
I'm currently facing a big decision.
I've got a job offer a couple of days ago. The new job would involve an 80% raise to my current salary, and I would make another step on the hierarchy ladder.
BUT
The new place is not a software development company. They have a small team working on internal stuff, but they are basically maintaining a 12 years old garbage.
My job would be, to design the new system from the ground up. At the moment, the new system has to do the same things as the old one, just faster and better. Then they'd like to extend it further.
The first part is not challenging, but the things that they planned in the future sound interesting.
The problem is, that my current company just got a new contract and I'm supposed to conduct the deploy (speaking with their managers, prepare their sites for installation, and install). And since it is a small startup, the deploy depends highly on me.
If I take the new job, then I have to start in February which ultimately means that I screw my current company real bad. They'll probably survive, but they might lose this contract and/or lose money.
If I do what makes economic sense, then I take the job. (fuck it's almost 2x as much!!) But I have mixed feelings about it.
I've got 48 hours to decide.
What do you guys think?6 -
I'm supposed to migrate a WP site and modify it accordingly by tomorrow.....
Went on a shopping spree instead.4 -
Well think it's time a go through an reassess myself a little bit...
Going to cut out premade iced coffee (As much as I do love my dare's) and just do homemade to save money and help with my acne...
Potentially start going for walks and do some minor working out if my back will allow it.
Pick up my violin and continue learning it...
And for the biggest hurdle.... I'm going to drop most of my current projects and take what's left, redesign from the ground up and just hammer them out with my nose to the ground and ass in the air...
Time for hell ( '-') ‾\1 -
So in the context, I ragequitted my school at the end of the 4th year (out of 5, so no diploma). I was broken, poor (the only money I got was my parents), and mad as fuck.
I took a 2 month vacation during the summer where I did strictly nothing, then I sat down to my computer, opened Rubymine and started building my new website (current version actually, new one is in progress)
Right after that, I downloaded the trial version of Adobe InDesign and created a better / updated version of my old CV, and put it on LinkedIn, Viadeo, everywhere. At first, it didn't work much since all my experience was about underpaid internships, so I honestly had no work experience on the paper.
Then, while answering to a job offer, I put my CV on Monster, before I realized I should have done this from the beginning: next 3 mornings I had 5 phone calls, and 2 appointments per day for 2 weeks 😁😁
My current job was one of the firsts that called me, but made me wait a whole month (through appointments & shit) before answering me "Yes" one tuesday at 10 pm, on my way to take a shower. It's been 10 months now 😁2 -
"Hey Boss, the things you are asking for will take one year to develop. Replacing the complete UI with another is not an easy task for our software [due to not having MVC or any kind of code modularisation]."
"Yes, but it needs to be done until november"
"We don't even now the requirements, yet. This will force the complete team into weekend and night shifts, to even get a first working prototype done! From my team lead I expect to be defended against such things!"
"Yes, but I need to make money!"
...5 -
They were fucking not. I used to get shouted at because I spend too much time infront of a computer. But funny enough everything was fine as soon as I started making more money than my parents while still being in high school. Now they take credit for my success but back in the day I needed to fight with them in order to get few hours of pc time.

I need you guys' help.
As mentioned earlier in one of my rants, I trade stocks part time, make a little money. But I am too tired from my full time work. So it is badly affecting my health. My broker is providing us with an API and docs at a monthly fee to develop software to automate trades.
I posted a job on Upwork, a few freelancers bid but their price was way beyond my budget.
Hence I decided to take up programming.
I was initially inclined towards C#, but seeing as how complex it is, I was thinking of going for python. Do you think it is a reasonable decision?7 -
So, my favourite language is Python, and for web developing I use Pyramid, and to stay in my "comfort zone" I use brython for client scripting, don't take me wrong, I love javascript, but for just a bit of performance lost I like being able to use all my pre-existing python code if I need to...
So, this was my first work experience, for a military industry, we had to make a service for uploading big files and sending them via email.
I heard one thing that shot me out of my "comfort zone" (I'll call it cf from now on)... "Use php"...
So, I already had written in php and I've always disliked it, perl-ish and broken as a bethesda game (i like bethesda games, but they are broken)
Another thing: javascript vanilla or jquery, never liked jquery either, so I decided to use vanilla js...
So, after 6 months of work, my partner and I finished it...
Well, more than one year later that mess we had to make to satisfy our boss' most absurd desires is not online yet, I search it on google every month, so yeah, 6 months of my life wasted (also, it was a "stage", so not only I didn't get any recognition, but they didn't give me any money) -
How hard is it to make a custom steno-lithography API? And do I even need one?
Hi, all. My name is J.A and I am co-owner of 3DPrintedDreams with my best friend. (We are both 17.)
During a brainstorm of what should be the flagship feature of our shop should be. We decided to take user images, (exact specifications TBD), and then use an API to transform them into .stl files so my friend can print it on his 3D Printer.
I am asking how hard or "easy" would it be to make such an API and what would be the bottom dollar if I were to make a collab post here about it? If anyone would be willing to listen, I could explain how all this would work in relation to the full stack of my website.
p.s. I understand that experience costs money and I myself have experienced this, but, we spent most of our money on the Pallete 2 from Mosaic. (about $500).
HOWEVER, we still have some money left. If a suggested price is to much for us to pay up-front, 3DPrintedDreams is willing to pay you in installments dermined by mutual agreement.
Thanks for your time and have a nice day!

I need an opinion.
I want to learn something new. I consider myself a non-stupid person, and I am quite embarassed by the fact that the only tool I know well is Js+friends.
My options are:
- Java because money
- C/C++ because smartass
- Rust because yes
- some new shiny obscure shit like nim/zig/hare because lol
Currebtly I need money tbh. Java would seem a reasonable option, yet I'm scared by its huge ecosystem and I'm afraid that it would seriously take too long (like MANY years) to be confident enough to get a job.
Also, despite the common memes and crap, I fucking like Java.31 -
My latest project is going quite well, I think some of guys might like it! Basically it is a entirely new Fallout game with multiplayer aspects made in Unreal. Now most of you are saying "dude make textures is going to take years!" However I can extract models and textures from Fallout itself, saving time. The next question will be the legal stuff however Zenimax gave me permission as long as I don't restrict access, money or otherwise. If you want to check it out or think you can help go to the sub Reddit and click the discord link!

i am too young and want to understand this: what's with tip culture?
its one of those things that i saw my parents and other people do and started doing the same but don't fully understand.
why do we need to 'always' tip the people who serve us? a waiter has a job to go on each table to take order, bring it when ready and take cash. i know that's a service that i should be grateful for, and i could showy gratitude with a tip, but isn't it same as the actual job for which they are being paid a salary?
same with a barber. same with a car repair guy. i don't understand why some professions have a variable gratitude money as one of the ctc components?4 -

lolwut? you have a free-for-all project with no premium features. Users can’t create accounts. All of your code is JS, you don’t even need a server. Just host your stuff on Cloudflare. I have just about a gigabyte of data uploaded there on my free account, so if I can do it, so do you. Just use a CDN for your client-only, JS-only project.
domains though… yours is long and costs around 40 bucks a YEAR.
if you made a good product and want to make some money with it, that’s completely okay, so just say so: “I want money for my work, but I don’t want to take away features that were free and can be provided at no additional cost, so please donate”. Why lie? It’s not like people who won’t donate to you based on this justification will magically donate for “hosting”.3 -

Today is the day, i'll finish up all the contract work that sits on my desk, cash in the money and finish up the free website i made for a befriended gamedev.
I've been sooo angry about other humans over the week but escaping into development and helping the few friendly humans out there is making me calm again.
If anyone of you feels down, grab a tee, clean your desk, take a bath and just start coding silly things, or try to help a mate in need. :-)1 -
When you finally decide to upgrade to a new Mac Book, and there's not a single unit in stock in Finland and earliest new stock ships early next year. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, I NEED THAT MACHINE RIGHT NOW!

I was asked to revisit some code yesterday - code that I had written at a much better time in my life. I was productive, I was on top of my project and we were delivering value to the organization.
I'm at a point now where I haven't written any code for months. I've been documenting and designing and arguing with teammates over inane shit. It's been an absolute slog, and I've started looking at what it would take for me to actually quit since I've got a kid on the way, and I've been bringing the stress and anxiety home from work. I've got so much money in options and salary, it's basically impossible for me to leave for better work.
I'd consider this the lowest point in my professional career. Four years of college - where I beat alcoholism and depression (mostly) only to end up at a place that I fucking hate, but cannot leave. It's affecting my family. I've drank more in the past 6 months than I have in my entire life.
And now I have to start repurposing old code to work on a new project that is fucked up 5 ways from Sunday. I honestly don't know how much further I can stretch my professional ethics to keep this shitload of cash flowing into my savings.3 -
I had a few products that I was working on, put myself really hard into those products, started a business and was ready to take a first round of investments when suddenly I lost my job in mid May because I had to take care of my mom that suffered a Stroke and since then I've been helping her.
This is driving me crazy because I'm engaged and had to use all of the money I was saving to pay my moms house and medical expenses; Now my fiancee is handling everything alone and not being able to help her and my mom, because I'm broke right now, is driving me crazy.
I only get crappy dev projects that put my mental health down. Don't really know what to do, I've been putting all my stress on my fiancee since last week and now she doesn't want to talk
I thought that even in this whole situation going on, I wasn't going to be so affected mentally and emotionally and honestly I don't know what to do nothing makes me feel better and start to think straight1 -
Nobody has any use from a 80% finished project (so not finished at all) except it was a lot of time and money to get to that point. Oh boy I need to make progress on about 500 different projects to get them to a useful stage.
Also very important lesson: Dont have your anxiety take over when facing the "omg I have a 6 digit number of things on my 2do list" because you can't say no to the "awesome" ideas you have.
Also: I have made a rule for myself that prevents me from starting/working on a side project when I have important deadlines on main projects2 -
so, I have a full time job, and I like it a lot, but I want to make a bit of extra money on the side. where do I start going about finding freelance gigs that are mostly relatively small in scale? I don't have enough free time to take on large scale jobs right now, and mostly I'd just like to build my portfolio/reputation so that I can eventually move into freelance several years in the future.

Playing Pokemon Go with my girlfriend, actually, she is playing and meeting with the quite active community in the town. I am just dragged along, i feel a bit like when i take my gf in the adventures that are Mobas, just with swapped roles.
I might be a tad bit opposed to the idea of spending money for a mobile game3 -
I realized something. No matter what tech i use to code a project there will always be a dev to take a shit on it
someone will recommend to use redis, after i use redis some other dev will trash me for having such a poor choice and recommend me socket.io
Then if i use socket.io some 3rd dev will trash me cause thats not the right way of building stuff and recommend me kafka
If i use kafka some 4th dev will trash me and say why i dont use angular
If I use angular 5th dev will trash me for not using react
If i use react 6th dev will trash me for not using nextjs
Tired of this bullshit
I'll use whatever tech i need. If i dont know what to use ill ask and take the first suggestion. I'll just build a saas and when it starts earning money ill pay other devs to refactor and scale the hell hole (which wont be cause i write good code following solid principles and not spaghetti). Much simpler solution than wrecking my head with decisions of tech stack5 -
!rant (kinda)
So I'm currently working on a personal project, where the concept is something, that if I wanted to, I could probably make a decent penny off of it.
The plan is to make it open source, and not charge anything for it, and when I tell this to non-dev people, they're almost shocked! Why would I not take an opportunity to make a lot of money!?
Well basically I think it's awesome to have open-source software, and I really want to "contribute to the society". And only after like 10 minutes, people start understanding my point, to just help people make something new, instead of being a greedy person, and keep it private, making it unavailable for a lot of people.
Hopefully I'm not the only one with this mindset?5 -
I can't decide what to do. I don't like my job. At all. I keep looking for new jobs in my area but there are none (just missed an opportunity with Rockstar 😞). I've had an offer to work with a platform that I really, really don't like and requires travel all over the country, but for almost double the money I'm on now. Should I stick with my current job til I find something better? Take this new offer for the money? Completely resign and become a hermit in the wild?4

"Tips" are fucking stupid. Any waiter or anyone who expects me to "tip" them is a fucking clown hobo. Full disrespect
You're telling me i should pay you extra money or else you're not gonna do YOUR job right? A job where you already receive stable monthly salary?
Whoever standardized "tipping" is a fucking CLOWN. Must have been a restaurant business paying billions for this marketing scam to normalize as if tipping 2$ is normal
Who the fuck are you? Are you my fucking friend? A relative? A family member? Why the fuck should i pay you extra money just because you want some extra money?
Guess what fucktard. I want some extra money too. Has anyone ever tipped me in my job? No. Has a client or will a client who paid for a software i develop ever tell me "hey youve done such a great job heres some extra $$$"? No. Will a client ever tell me "hey your software earned me 100k$ heres a $100 tip or a $1000 tip"? NO
If i dont get tips Fuck you. Rough world and live with it.
Anyone who wants or expects tips I immediately view him as:
- beggar
- gypsy
- homeless
What the fuck are you gonna do with 2$ 5$ 10$ tip bro? You're broke and your job sucks go and learn some skill and you might earn more if you're so stubborn about a tip
Today i paid for coffee $7 but the price was 6.25$. Expecting a change, the waiter just went off. I told him give me my fucking 0.75$ back you fuck. And so he did. But he gave me back 0.7$. Where the fuck is my 0.05$????? Fucking retard. You want to take extra money from me just for a COFFEE. YOURE HOMELESS BRO TF U GONNA DO WITH 5 CENTs???
Also the reason why i get so pissed off about this is
1) The other day i was at some other coffee shop also paying for coffee. Dont remember the price but i paid. However i miscalculated. I paid 0.10$ less than i was supposed to. She was standing there and telling me I'm missing 10 Fucking cents. Confused, i calculated again and realized i made a mistake. So i round it up to 1$ instead of 0.10$ and she kept everything instead of giving me the change of 0.90$. So its NOT ok that you're a gypsy for not accepting the payment because its missing 10 cents, but its TOTALLY fine that you take 0.90$ extra money just because you want to. GET FUCKED
2) The other day i was in a store buying food. At the cashier i paid $27. However i was missing 0.02$. The cashier told me do you have 0.05$ to coverup the missing funds. In disbelief, i was looking at her could not believe my fucking eyes what she asked. How fucking POOR can you get. I gave her more than 2 fucking cents and proceeded with my shit
Very valuable shit i learned from these stories: NO ONE will give a shit to accept a payment even if its missing 1 FUCKING CENT. But its totally fine that they dont return me however much they dont want to.
How about you sometimes fucking say "hey i know you you come to this store very often heres a discount"???
Or "its fine that you dont have 0.01 fucking dollars, you can take your food"???
Or "hey i seen you buy here often heres a fucking discount just for you today"????
Because of that i have decided to take ALL of my fucking hard earned money and ask for the exact change. I dont give a FUCK just as much as THEY dont give a FUCK.
For reference:
0.01$ = 1 in my currency
0.90$ = 90 in my currency
27$ = 2900 (4 figures) in my currency
My currency is shit. My country is shit. People in my city are shit. The whole vibe here is shit. And perhaps that is why i shit so much because i get stuffed with too much daily BULLSHIT10 -
Hey guys, could use some opinions. So I live in a country with a pretty small economy. I've been working at a big company out here for about a year now. Initially my plan was to work here for a year then apply for grad school in the states, try and use that leverage for one of those big us dollar jobs and potentially one of those magic green cards I've been reading about. I work about the equivalent of 35k/yr in my current position. It may sound pretty ordinary to some of you guys, but here it's a pretty huge salary. It's pretty hard to walk away from it. It's now becoming difficult to make the decision of giving up such a high salary, to make the time and money investment in school. Running the risk of spending a year or 2 in school and then not being able to work in the states. Putting the money aside i know that there'll be greater oppurtunity for learning and growth in the states, so it may be worth it for the experience alone. What do you guys think ? Take the risk? Stay safe in my job? look at other countries maybe ? I'm all ears.6

Watched 2 different vendors struggle to get something going.
I stayed quiet during both meetings, the first, was a misconfiguration error on their project code. They were tailoring the product that they sold my institution, I could see the simple error: key-value settings on one of their json files (it is a dotneto app)
I don't get paid to troubleshoot the code for an external company, so I was silent, knowing full well this would take longer to get done, needless to say, I had originally advised against purchasing this product but was not listened to, very well then.
The other was a configuration issue on the side of a different Java based product, there were some strange XML configuration entries, some other project files that made little sense, but again: quiet.
Department head is concerned about the delays that this might cause and will still not ask if I am willing to help since he knows I A) was against this product purchase from the get go and B) knows DAMN well I will say that I don't get paid to troubleshoot the issues that third party vendors charging us over 100k of product "worth", they wanna spend the money on "enterprise" shit that does not work, they can deal with their own shit programs.
Morale of the story: money moves people. If there is no bling in my account: then I ain't doing it.
Now, I do get paid well for what I do, and for that I do bust my ass, for everything else: there is mastercard.11 -

I wanted to take small loan from bank I am loyal customer for 15 years to speed up things by month. I decided to pay money for it.
They have some online form for it and I filled it.
So what happened next ?
I got call to confirm every input I filled (heard keyboard typing every time I answered question).
I asked how long I will wait and got response that it will take couple of hours, max 2 days.
Just received another call 10 days later that they need documents to prove my income.
They got 15 years history of every operation and it looks like it means nothing.
I said to person I will earn this money faster then I get it from them so at this point this conversation is just waste of my time.
It’s 10 days left till end of month and I think it will be easier to just wait or ask friend for a favor.
Yet another reason to say fuck banks.
Time is money.7 -
When I’m getting to 100k MRR, if I have any developers but me, I’m gonna spoil them. I mean making them obscenely spoiled. Here, take your 4 times the market salary. Enjoy the culture and never leave.
Why? Because my architecture approach makes products that don’t need many devs, plus I don’t like making useless features. Every product has a scope. Every scope can be completed. “There are always tasks” notion is wrong.
Also, because to me 1000% and 10000% margins aren’t different at all. Those who seek MOAR and MOAR money, amassing more money than they can ever spend, do it out of fear.
I don’t have any kind of fear. Those who looked their death straight in the eyes don’t fear materialistic misfortunes.
My favorite word is “enough”. I speak it to myself several times a day, over and over, like a mantra. It helps me overcome but-what-ifs that plague people to the point of using next.js just to make trivial saas apps that can be replaced by Excel in one week of work.8 -
My mechanical keyboard just died :/ Plugged it into my work tower and started smelling "burnt". its a WASD V3, i hope they can ship me just the controller board because shipping the keyboard to the US and back it's going to take a too much time and money...

I have called for a meeting with my manager's manager expressing concerns and ask for a role change inside the company.
How should I approach this?
My current project is this some IoT stuff being built on the cloud.
The role that I was recruited for and the one I am currently doing is very different thanks to the TPTB who suddenly decided some other team in a different country (lets call them B ) take on that role.
I see a lot of trash work assigned to my team that is a consequence of lack of understanding of the cloud stuff by people upstream and not automating steps in the engineering process like build, test, deploy ( which was part of my initial role description ) and I'm not liking my current role. But my manager doesn't give a damn.
He is just happy to be involved in the project.
I feel like I am having leftovers from a fancy restaurant in spite of having enough money to dine well in the same hotel.
When I bring out the concerns like lack of automating, cost savings in the cloud, improved security configurations to my manager, he doesn't seem to care and not voicing them upstream. If I bring up these topics in any discussion where people outside my team are also there, then I am quickly sidelined.
The rest of my team also don't seem to care. They just don't want to stand up and take responsibility.1 -
I started the job I'm currently at some months ago, and since then I've been pretty shitty. There are some days where I feel less shitty, I feel like I accomplished something, but at the end of the day, it feels shitty.
I had been here previously, and my gut had told me since then to quit, and it did the same again since I started working here again. I'm afraid I'm losing my time here, time that could be precious doing something else that would mean more to me.
They didn't keep up with some parts of the contract, I'm receiving pretty much nothing since I'm in a non-existent "formation", it's overall a whole load of crap.
I was supposed to do some stuff with Python, but then they told me to focus on Java and do some stuff after I was trying to learn (by myself) Python for a month, then they told me to do stuff with another completely different language again. WTF? I felt like I was shit.
Even in the last time I was working here, I was feeling the same, people were asking me to do webpages and other web things and then discarded them (literally) after I worked on them for weeks or they asked me to remake them COMPLETELY.
I had also been promised money for some side-jobs like doing websites for their friends, but in total I've received like 2/6 of what I was supposed to get.
Overall, I feel like my experience here has been shit, but I'm scared I won't find another job for these next 6 months (I'm taking a year off college to get some money)
If I follow my gut, my heart, and try to "fight" for my happiness, I'm leaving
If I follow my brain, and possibly become even more sad and miserable, I'm staying.
Who's the strongest?
I know you might even say "it's just some months" but those months will make a complete difference when I look backwards at my journey. I believe we cannot waste any time in life being unhappy.
Why couldn't they keep all their promises, not take advantage of me paying me so low... I'm completely sure I would receive more money somewhere else.
Well, I guess this rant is about my employer and the conflict between my gut and my brain.
Why can't y'all be friends and be on the same page? -
We needed to decide which JS library to integrate in a project. I investigated two libs both os and commercial and made a nice table to compare the pros and cons side by side. Important to note that both fullfilled nearly all of my technical requests and there are zero other comparable projects or products.
Now our Boss needed to make the final decision. He shortly looked at the Excel File and said:
I don't like opensource software because they will abandon the project if they earn no money. Also I don't like the other one. It's too expensive and it's developed by only a small company! I'll let you know which risk i'll take!
You guessed it: Still no decision after a few weeks. I'd say he will go for the os lib...

Well, first off I want to actually pass my college classes. You know, the classes I barely find interest in that seem to be very minimal in my coding skills.
Next, take up or join a project for the summer. You know, get my name out there.
Third, make money
Fourth, make something significant in the OSdev community. I absolutely love low-level dev. Now (to myself) Let's do this! -
Bought a laptop off my friend for $100 so he can get rid of it since he no longer uses it, and he can use the money to get more fans for his desktop to help that with it's overheating issue.
I took it home and for some reason didn't want to turn it on immediately. i decided to first take it apart and see if there's any internal issues just in case. As soon as the back cover is off I see that 1 out of the three segments on the lithium ion battery expanded. yep gonna order a new one of that tomorrow. I'm not the most hardware savvy but I'm pretty sure an expanded battery can cause an explosion1 -
Tying to make something of myself without working for anyone else.
It used to be easy for me, but fear kept me from perusing things all the way thru when I was younger. I never wanted to leave what were decent jobs at the time.
I finally did it. Threw away a very good job to bet on myself.
But the difference is, now I have a family and finding free time in itself isn’t that hard, but finding free time to code uninterrupted for hours... the way one needs to in order to hold a program in ones mind... yeah, near impossible these days, haha.
I have great ideas but I need help to get things to that ‘next level’ where an idea could take off and get real investments. And I need money to pay the help... Just getting the ball rolling would be nice. I used to take it for granted how easily I could get side jobs and be literally the best in town. But now it’s insanely competitive. I don’t even consider Webdesign an option for side work anymore, with sites like Wix and customers that don’t appreciate what I do vs a kid that gives them a Wordpress theme for just the cost of dirt cheap hosting... traditional Webdesign is dead.
But that’s all well and good, i saw that coming over a decade ago and focused more on coding application. I do think there’s a niche for my programming skills, so my current goal is trying to exploit that, or at least see if it’s viable. I just need something to get money to invest in my real projects.
I’d love to hear from people with similar situations! Not sure if I’ll pull it off before I have to go back to work. Although, I viewed never returning to the workforce haha. We’ll see... -
To stay a dev (can do the role with my eyes closed) or take on the architecture role for this company that is sinking like the titanic.
Don’t bother with the hassle (don’t need more money tbh & don’t even know what the money is)?
Take the opportunity while it’s there and get it on my cv?
🤷♂️
#question4 -
I was once working at very successful startup as lead android engineer, when another startup contacted me and offered me a better paid and "stable" position. 9 months later I woke up on the 1st of the month (1st June 2018), checking my bank account: No payment. I go to office, boss comes in : hey guys, we're bankrupt and we can't pay your salary.
Today still no salary, we're waiting now for court to officially declare the startup bankrupt and then Government will pay me my last 3 salaries, while my working contract is still valid for 3 months after company gets declared officially as bankrupt. We're being expected to work as nothing would be, with no money on our bank accounts (we've been even told to take a temporary loan) and that sooner or later somebody will buy us off. Oh, it would be also really nice from us if we would not be looking for a new "challenge". What'd you do?3 -
Its festive season. Half of the team mates are on leave. Servers are down. No work can be done. Office looks life less ( which it always is). Boss asking why didnt you take leave. Yes because your free time off is almost zero. I need money. People being happy and getting in relationship/married. I am a fucking loner here.
Dragging my ass across the hallway like a ass fucked zombie. Typing this rant with a grumpy face. And people say monday blues are worst.
Fuck this emptiness. Fuck servers on maintenance. Fuck these white iridescent bulbs glowing for no reason. Fuck people murmuring around me. Fuck everything which is in my sight. Fuck this depressive fucking festive season.2 -
Finally finished my exams! Went well, thankfully. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about school for the next three months! :D
Do you guys have any summer projects you're planning on? I'm hoping to get Arch installed on my PC at some point soon. Getting sick of Windows 10. I'll probably be working part time as well, which will be good for money. Might even take a road trip if I get lucky. :) -
I have gained quite a lot of coding confidence recently.
Im quite confident i can deploy a full working application or a mobile app.
I have some inspiration bit i am still not sure of how much work/investment does it take to make something that generates money.
Of course im not including million dollar ideas. No my goal is to make small apps/applications or freelancing jobs off work to generate some extra money (noticeable enough that the investment is worth the return).
Obviously the best way to learn is to dive in and im not asking to know about your golden egg that you are harvesting.
But do you have any tips/advice or experiences to share?3 -
I never thought I'd rant about this. But here I am.
I am making too much money. That's my issue.
(For any Indians here, I am making 48 LPA take-home salary freelancing this year)
But this is costing me my daily life now. I am literally glued to the screen from 9 AM to 12 midnight every day. I do mean everyday, 7 days a week.
It's already March. I never even felt Jan and Feb passing me by. But yeah, I had to air this out. My chest feels lighter now.2 -
Dear Bethesda, Long time no rant eh?
So, I Pre-ordered your mess called Fallout 76! I was hyped! But you fucktards just fucked everything from behind...
Shit Graphics, over 1001 bugs, everything...
I didnt play it much so, I didnt think about it until now... now when my Drives called, "Porn", "more porn" and "a fuckton of porn" are full, and whats the biggest game ive installed? Yes. Fallout 76... I uninstalled this mess and wanted a refund of my 95.60CHF, Which is A LOT for a game... and you fucks lurking in the background replied with "players who have downloaded the game are not eligible for a refund." Aka: "We now have your money, bought some cheap hookers with it, and now dont have it anymore JK LOOOOL XDDD"
Yeah, and my friend who wanted a refund, got it. Fuck off bethesda, take your shitty shit of a shit piece of shit game with you and fly away with it.
I cant take it anymore...
OH, AND DID I MENTION YOU PUT AN AD ON YOUR MAIL?! Like this:
We have your money now, but please waste more on it on our other shit games.
FUCK OFF!

My life always oscillates between:
"Ugh, i hate this super stressful fast paced company environment. These guys are offering me great money, but i am here whole day, running my brain for 9 hrs straight. I need to get out of this torture and take a break!"
And
"Ugh I hate sitting idle at home. I could not come out of my bed till noon, watch Netflix whole day and porn whole night and broke af. I need to get in some job and get back to routine"1 -
How do I make money through humor?
I am getting better at amusing myself.
For instance. I get take and bake pizza from Papa Murphys. The pizza says to cook at 425 or 450. I always cook it at 420 at what I have determined to be "perfect" times. So a Papa Murphys pepperoni is to be cooked for 11 minutes at 420 F. Literal perfection with not too dark crust, and not too light. All my homies says it great.7 -
I started an IT company at the very beginning of this year with one of my dear friends.
Things were already tough at the time because we agreed to take a shop in order to do something there, but until now, only 10-15 people came in to buy something.
We're also using that space to teach, but up to now we only got 5 students.
I want to just close that fucking shop, my partner doesn't. So I guess I'll just quit my partner and CTO position and go away from the company.
I'm just way too tired of putting money into it, putting all my spare time, sleep about 4-6h/day to do stuff for it and work every single day (I think I had a pause a few weeks ago, for like half a day).
I much rather stop doing this and give up the money I spent in it than get back my money and keep going on like this: I really can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.9 -
My colleagues who work with AWS got trainings and I was supposed to pick out training that roughly corresponds to the content of the AWS training just in Azure. I did that. And as an answer I get a link to the Microsoft Virtual Training Days, where I can do the Fundamentals course and then take the AZ900 exam for free. Cool! Why should you spend money. It's all in the Microsoft documentation.1

Does sending spam text messages really bring results? Omg, I bought a domain name once without paying for privacy and oh how I regret it. I can't imagine anybody ever being like, "Oh wow, thank you for reaching out to me with that product pitch, that's exactly what I was looking for, please, take my money!"

How much ram do you generally need in a Linux server? I'm already using 70% out of 2GB on my LAMP stack, and I'm planning to deploy my website prototype to show off in interviews next year. Is 8-16GB of EEC RAM a better option for future proofing? The only thing holding me back is I don't plan to make money on this server in the immediate future so I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons. 🤔
This CentOS server runs on CLI only so the GUI isn't a factor. Eventually I'll have it host Java Spring API's which will easily take up what RAM I have left. On top of that I have 10 db on mySQL so that's another likely culprit.7 -
So I have a pretty decent job on a more than good wage working for a larger company... I have my own team and get a good bit of responsibility with the role..... But the culture outside of my team is non existent....business is a mess and everything is a war to get anything done... I wish I could just take my team and do my own thing.... So.....
An old colleague and a great friend wants us to do our own thing... The money looks good... There is great demand... She is already doing it and making great money and turning down work and wants an equal partner in the business idea.. Equal equity split...
.... Why am I so worried about leaving a job I don't really have much loyalty too? Ironically the friend wanting me to go do our own thing with hired me here and got me promoted!
I want to go do it but something is keeping me here and I don't know what.... Am I just making excuses not to go?
Am I being rational wanting to stay or tricked of this false security a big firm offers?

Am a developer I write Python, php and java. .. I joined a telecoms company in my country which is not doing well as opposed to the other 2 telecoms. One reason is that its a government entity And always keep making bad decision which no one take responsible of. .. always good at making bad decision

I love writing code and learning new stuff
And progressing in my career
But I cant do that if am answering a call every fu*king sec. We are not appreciated as a team by both the business and CTIO even tho we are only the only two engineers in the Dept. .. its sickens me

Any one here have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering? I'm thinking about going back to school, but I'm not sure it's worth the money since I live in the US. (cries in over-expensive education costs)
I do a lot infrastructure work and some super basic programming/scripting but I think I really want to get into hardware maybe zone in on either RF or take a stab at amps/effects pedals for guitar and bass.
as an aside, I'm not trying to go back to school for job or career related reasons, I just want to noodle with stuff and maybe create my own circuitry for stuff.12 -
My first intern for school.
It was for less than two months (so I don't get paid), and it was developing HTML on Joomla!.
I lost money (since I was living on my savings, no scloarship during the intern, and had to take the train, which wasn't paid by the company, of course no), nothing more learned, I wouldn't call valuable that experience since I want to avoid CMS as most as possible, lost a whole summer.
I have it on my CV just to talk about it and say "Never again"6 -

I'd love to focus on music/performing and try my best to make money like that.
But if that fails, I'll just take all my savings at the time and become a vagabond. -
1.2 years ago, I was an intern, In letter they've written that 4 hours to work but I was working 12 hours daily cause I was curious and my boss appreciate for this. so one day while testing our app at 3 am in the night, he said, u r working too hard, so u can take a Smart Phone from my side of worth ~$250. I was so happy. He said it is a gift for ur dedication. Also, they've given ~$250 on my initial day while joining to upgrade my PC. But now, I've provided my resignation letter. So they've asking me to give back the Phone cause its a company asset and also give back the money. But later they said don't give the money but deliver the Phone before 15 Jan. So, idk am I an idiot or what but I was working more harder and helping more people in company so that they're provide more stuff and get impressed. But now I think i should not do anything and do my work as a duty. Idk, should I return the phone, should I ask my boss again that u have given it as a gift or should I return another $250? I'm a student, I don't earn much and my boss knew it very well. like after 2 year of experience in MERN stack/ Azure/ Flutter, I've created many things in company and they've decided to give $3,607/year according to my new offer letter. That's why I left the company.5

- Curiosity - always eager to learn how stuff worked
- Money [obviously]
- Future is technology
- minimal interaction with people
- I'm good at it
- call it a guity pleasure but it gives me sence of being better than people around me [don't take it seriously]
Personally, I am surrounded by people who are deeply religious. Growing up, saw my family, relatives and whole nation neak deep into religion and politics. No one was interested to ask questions or see things differently.
When I was 15 got an internet connection and started consuming information as much as I can. Understood things with physics, got to know a bit about universe that gave the perspective on existence and stuff.
It was not too long my curiosity took me to learn CPUs and it's components.
Well, from there it was deep 90° slope and I'm still diving down, I just simply can't stop myself.1 -
WTF with Uber Eats. Finally I had some amount left in my salary. I ordered food via Uber eats and they charged me. After sometime they restaurant not accepted my order and cancelled it. I paid for and I don't have an extra money for ordering. The repayment says it will repay in after 7 days. After Contacting customer care number, it is only priority for the ordered customers only. I'm starving now...Fuck this morning and Uber eats. Any devs from that shitty company take care of that flaw...they are taking this as a fucky business...
What a flaw...taking is faster and repayment takes 7 days...
Seriously out of my mind....fuck...fuck....7 -
I was never really into programming which led to bad grades in programming courses I had to take in my college which are mostly based on C. Later, I've realized that it's an easy way to make pocket money ;) as I was a bit good at it and my learning curve is a bit fast, which made everything happen real fast. This is when I started of with Java which was crucial in building an enterprise application. This was the time I made some real progress in programming.

My family members are support me, they know I'm unsaveable about this. Only my wife sais when I'm learning (I am before career change), you should stop playing and take care something useful instead. Or when I say I have to work on something, her answer is like, It's not work if you enjoy it and don't get money for it, it is only a hobby.

I don't even know if the shitty rant gets through this unreliable service I pay for with my money. I want to fucking wrap my hand in that money, light it up and fucking beat your teeth out while shoving this fucking money down your greedy, second arseholes. Honestly, what am I paying you for. These last couple of days your service was less reliable than a drunkard behind the wheel trying to drive in a straight line. Exactly this fucking week where there's a fucking hackathon. This very fucking week l where I got to be the team leader, you make me look like a fucking unreliable internet twat who just talks big. This very fucking week I'm given a internet service that doesn't even let me communicate with my team mates. Why do you dare to display fucking 3g? Is the the force my fist should take? Is it the fucking amount of gallons of acid you want to be showered with? Well fucking pay that shit with the money you earned. Just let me fucking work, let me give my best, give me a fucking way to look at the docs, give me a fucking way to test my code (chat bot), give me a fucking way to tell you to go fuck yourself using your fucking antennas, maybe thst will help.

I thought you had to be great in the computer fields before your friends started asking to make their idea games. Just happened to me this morning.
Friend: Hey let's make an MMORPG!
Me: Bro that would take years...
F: Hmmm... fine then just an RPG.
M: *in my head* cuz that really changes things, it's still an RPG...
M: Lemme hear your idea
F: *proceeds to describe Fallout /but better/
F: And I'm willing to learn game design an hour or two a day
Idk how to make him realize that it takes money, time and more than two people!! -

I have a laptop with 8gb ram, 1Tb HDD, i5 7th gen running windows 10 and Ubuntu. Right now I'm using windows 10 as my primary OS, I'm simply addicted to the gestures especially the four finger swipe to switch desktops. I have been thinking of adding an SSD to the mix and my budget only permits a 120gb M.2 or a 250gb normal ssd.
The advantage with m.2 is that I can keep my HDD and boot my OS from the ssd and maybe install my IDEs on there but with the other ssd I'm gonna have to take my HDD out and use it as an external.
I read somewhere that 250gb above SSDs are the ones worth spending money on and that the 120 and 250 doesn't justify the price or life.
So my question is, should I go for an SSD? and if I do which one to go for m.2 or the normal one?3 -
I'm slowly coming to the realization that when the men with more money come over and take my selfies with them, I've ruined their day. They all see my beautiful pictures, but when I realize it now they'll only get to see my unfollows. I'm being really bold to say this, but I have to change soon.
All this work and growth I'm putting my mind into will probably never come true.1 -

LEADING BTC RECOVERY COMPANY-CODER CYBER SERVICES
As a real estate investor, I am always cautious about where I put my money. I’ve learned the hard way that not every opportunity is what it seems, so I usually take my time to do thorough research before committing. When I came across an online platform offering exclusive property deals with high returns, I was intrigued but skeptical. The website, realatorsCA com, looked professional, and the salesperson was incredibly persuasive. He explained that the investment would be used to buy land, develop it by building properties, and then sell them for a profit. This seemed like a solid business model, and the idea of earning profits from such ventures was appealing. After weeks of research, checking reviews, and asking questions, I decided to invest CAD 42,700 in what seemed like a promising opportunity. At first, everything seemed fine. I received regular updates about the projects, and my online account showed “profits” from my investment. Everything appeared legitimate, and I was optimistic about my decision. The website offered easy access to my account, and the platform seemed to be functioning just as advertised. However, when I tried to withdraw some of my funds to see how the process worked, the website suddenly went offline. My attempts to reach the customer service number went unanswered, and eventually, the phone number was disconnected. At that point, I realized that I had been scammed.I felt devastated and helpless. It was hard to believe that I had been tricked, especially after doing so much research. But I didn’t give up. I reached out to Coder Cyber Services, a company operating in Banff, Alberta. I provided them with all the details I had: the website, transaction records, and emails from the scammer. MOST RELIABLE BITCOIN RECOVERY COMPANY-CODER CYBER SERVICES
Despite some difficult days, I observed encouraging returns. Small things like getting cookies from the office kitchen still brought me joy. Life was moving forward, and my investments seemed to be paying off. I had started adding more money to an online platform, eager to optimize my gains. Who wouldn’t want to maximize returns when things were going so well? The platform had appeared legitimate at first, and I was excited about the steady progress my account was showing. But then, everything suddenly vanished. One morning, I logged into my account to check on my investments, only to be greeted by a stark message: “Account temporarily unavailable.” I refreshed the page, tried a different browser, and even attempted to log in from my phone all to no avail. My heart sank as I realized that the funds I had worked hard to grow seemed to have disappeared. After several failed attempts to contact customer service, I eventually received a vague email from the online platform. The message instructed me to stop interacting with the platform and suggested that I attempt a bank reversal for any deposits made. However, by this point, too much time had passed, and the window for initiating a reversal had long since closed. I felt trapped. The money I had invested seemed inaccessible, and the promise of returns that once felt so certain was now nothing more than a distant memory. Desperate for answers, I reported the situation to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), hoping that their intervention might shed some light on what had happened and bring accountability to the platform. I also began sharing my experience on online forums and social media, hoping to raise awareness and prevent others from falling into the same trap. Still, I knew that waiting for a regulatory response could take time, and I wasn’t ready to give up on recovering my funds. In my frustration, I sought out a professional service called Coder Cyber Services. Known for their expertise in recovering funds from online platforms with questionable practices, they offered a more hands-on approach. I reached out to them, hoping they could help expedite the process of retrieving my blocked payout requests. The process with Coder Cyber Services was slow, each step unfolding like a puzzle with more questions than answers. Communication from their team was sparse, and the uncertainty began to take a toll on my patience. Yet, I couldn’t give up. The professionals at Coder Cyber Services assured me they were doing everything they could, and their experience gave me hope that my case could be resolved. After weeks of waiting, my persistence paid off. Coder Cyber Services successfully helped me recover my money. Their expertise and determination turned a seemingly hopeless situation around. I finally saw the funds I thought were lost returned to my account, which was an incredible relief. Reflecting on this experience, I’ve learned several valuable lessons. The most important is the necessity of caution when dealing with online platforms. While the potential for high returns is tempting, it’s crucial to ensure that any platform you trust with your money is reputable. My decision to invest without enough research or due diligence is a mistake I will never repeat. I also learned the importance of acting quickly. Time is often the enemy when dealing with financial platforms, especially those with questionable practices. Though my journey is still ongoing, this experience has made me more resilient. I will continue to approach future investments with greater caution, vigilance, and a commitment to understanding the risks involved. And I’ll always be grateful to Coder Cyber Services for helping me recover what I thought was lost for good. Get in touch with the company via:

USDT RECOVERY EXPERTS REVIEWS ARE SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL
It's disheartening to think about how many people, like myself, fell victim to these unscrupulous brokers promising easy returns through binary options trading. All I wanted was to invest and be part of a promising financial opportunity. The idea seemed simple: put in your money, make a smart investment, and watch it grow. But as I soon learned, things were far from what they appeared. From the beginning, everything felt too good to be true. These brokers made their pitch with high-pressure tactics, ensuring that I was excited about the prospects of lucrative returns. But the more I engaged, the more I realized something wasn’t right. Every time I tried to make a withdrawal from my account, I was met with constant resistance. The excuses kept piling up: "You need to invest more before you can withdraw," or "There's an issue with your account that requires further funds to fix. "It became clear that the goal wasn’t to help me grow my investments but to take my money and prevent me from accessing it. The emotional toll was immense imagine watching your hard-earned savings evaporate because of promises that were never meant to be kept. It was a terrifying, frustrating experience, and I can’t help but feel for all the others going through the same ordeal. I considered myself lucky when I finally found a way to recover my funds, albeit through some unethical means. At that point, I was desperate. I couldn’t care less how it was done, as long as I got my money back. USDT RECOVERY EXPERT REVIEWS HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
WhatsApp info:+12723 328 343
As a dedicated nurse working at St. Mary's Hospital in the USA and a mother of two, I’ve always felt a strong responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of my children. This became especially important when they entered high school, a time when they face increased pressures and challenges. My husband, unfortunately, wasn’t as involved in their lives, leaving me to take the lead in many aspects of parenting and family management. One day, I discovered that my husband had made a significant financial decision that concerned me. He had taken $7,500, money that was originally set aside for our children’s school fees, and invested it in an online platform. When he came home that evening, he was visibly distressed. I immediately noticed the stress on his face and a notification on his phone from one of his friends asking if he had received the help he needed. This raised red flags, so I decided to confront him. After some conversation, my husband admitted that he had lost the money in a high-risk investment scheme he had found online. The platform seemed legitimate at first, but it turned out to be a scam. My heart sank when I realized the gravity of the situation. The money was not only intended for our children’s education, but we were also in a vulnerable financial position, and this loss could have serious consequences. Despite the overwhelming stress, I decided to act quickly. I suggested that he seek professional help from a service called ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST , which specializes in recovering funds lost to online scams and fraudulent investments. He was hesitant at first, but after hearing more about their success stories, he agreed to give it a try. I’m relieved to say that ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST was able to help us recover the entire $7,500. The money was successfully returned to our account, and we were able to use it for its intended purpose—our children’s school fees. The sense of relief and gratitude we felt was immense, as we knew we had narrowly avoided a potentially devastating situation. It was a reminder of how important it is to stay vigilant in today’s digital world, and I’m thankful that, with the right support, we were able to recover from this financial setback.

I nearly lost $235,000 of my pension funds to a self-proclaimed broker I connected with on LinkedIn. This individual promised me an impressive 35% return on every investment, including bonuses. At the time, I was seeking financial freedom and saw this as a golden opportunity. I was eager to make my money work for me, so I invested quickly without fully understanding the risks involved. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I was actually putting my funds in the hands of a scammer looking to profit at my expense. At first, things seemed fine. I received some early "profits," which reassured me and made me feel more confident in my decision. But soon, the situation took a turn for the worse. I tried to withdraw my funds, but the broker began making excuses. They claimed that additional fees were required before I could access my profits and capital. The more I tried to withdraw, the more hurdles they put up. It was at this point that I realized I had been taken for a ride. The broker wasn't interested in helping me grow my wealth, he was only looking to take advantage of my trust and hard-earned money. Panicked and desperate to recover my funds, I turned to the internet in search of a legitimate solution. That's when I came across reviews of Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a professional fund recovery service. I was initially skeptical, having read about so many fake recovery firms that promise results but end up scamming victims further. However, after doing some research and reading positive testimonials from real people, I decided to reach out to Tech Cyber Force Recovery. To my relief, they immediately took my case and assured me that they would work to retrieve my funds. What impressed me the most was their transparency; there were no upfront fees, and they explained every step of the process. Within a short time, they managed to recover my entire $235,000 investment, including my profits. I couldn't believe it. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the dangers of online investments and the importance of being cautious when dealing with unknown brokers. Hey everyone, I want to take a moment to share my personal experience with a scam that many might find relatable. A few months ago, I fell victim to a binary options trading scam that cost me a staggering $120,000. It’s a story of deception, vulnerability, and ultimately, hope. As a computer technician, I’m usually pretty savvy when it comes to online activities. However, I was looking for investment opportunities and came across a slick website that promised quick returns through binary options trading. The site looked professional, and the testimonials seemed genuine. Encouraged by the potential profits, I started investing small amounts, gradually increasing my investment as I thought I was seeing success. However, things took a turn for the worse. My initial profits began to dwindle, and soon I was facing losses. Despite my instincts warning me, I kept pouring in more money, convinced that I could turn things around. The brokers were persuasive, often promising me that a big win was just around the corner. It felt like I was on the brink of success, but in reality, I was sinking deeper into a financial abyss. When I finally realized I was being scammed, it hit me hard. I felt a mix of anger, shame, and desperation. I had lost not just money but also my sense of security and trust in online investments. It was one of the darkest periods of my life, as I struggled to comprehend how I could have been so easily fooled. In my search for solutions, I confided in a friend who works in the FBI. He encouraged me to seek professional help and recommended a recovery service called Spylord Crypto Recovery. Initially skeptical, I decided to reach out to them, hoping they could assist in reclaiming some of my lost funds. To my surprise, the team at Spylord Crypto Recovery was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They guided me through the recovery process step by step, helping me gather necessary documentation and communicating with the banks and financial institutions involved. Within a few weeks, I was relieved to find out that they had successfully recovered about 70% of my lost funds. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of vigilance and skepticism in online investments. I’m sharing my story not only as a cautionary tale but also to remind others that there is help available. If you’ve lost money to a scam, don’t hesitate to seek professional assistance. Recovery is possible, and you don’t have to navigate this difficult journey alone.Stay safe, and trust your instincts!

The excuses kept piling up: "You need to invest more before you can withdraw," or "There's an issue with your account that requires further funds to fix."It became clear that the goal wasn’t to help me grow my investments but to take my money and prevent me from accessing it. The amount of stress and anxiety I endured throughout the process made me realize how easily these brokers can manipulate and deceive people into losing everything. If you find yourself in a similar situation where a binary options broker has taken your money and refuses to allow withdrawals, there is hope. A company like Digital Tech Guard Recovery offers services to help you recover your funds. While the methods they use may not always be conventional, they are highly effective at assisting victims of online financial fraud. To anyone considering binary options or any form of online trading, I urge caution. Do your research thoroughly, and be extremely wary of brokers who promise quick profits with no risks. Seek Digital Tech Guard Recovery help to recover what you’ve lost there are resources available to help you reclaim your funds and, more importantly, protect your financial future.5 -
As a small business owner, every dollar matters. So when I was scammed out of $58,000 by a fake investment broker, it didn’t just affect my savings it threatened the stability of my business and the people who rely on me. The broker had been smooth, persuasive, and professional. Everything seemed legitimate until, without warning, all communication stopped and the money was gone. I felt helpless. Reporting the crime led to slow responses and little hope of recovery. That’s when I started digging through forums and online communities to see if anyone had experienced something similar. I came across a Reddit post where someone shared their success with a service called CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. Intrigued and with little to lose, I contacted them. From the very beginning, CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN set themselves apart. They were direct, honest, and never overpromised. They explained the steps they’d take combining cyber investigation with legal action to pursue the scammer and retrieve the stolen funds. I appreciated that they treated my case with urgency and respect. The process was surprisingly fast. Within a few weeks, their team had traced digital breadcrumbs and identified the individuals behind the scam. They applied pressure using legal avenues and negotiation tactics. The outcome? I recovered 95% of my money. I was stunned. I had mentally written that money off as a hard lesson, but thanks to their efforts, I got most of it back. Throughout the entire process, their communication was steady and clear. I never had to chase updates or wonder what was happening. Their team was not only skilled but genuinely committed to helping people recover from financial fraud. If you’re facing a similar nightmare, I urge you to reach out to CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. They turned what felt like an impossible situation into a success story. Idk if this is the right place to ask but I thought Of this and my parents are sick of trying to satisfy me and they said they don’t even know what I’m asking. I know this is an extremely dumb question. Hypothetically, if a plane full of billionaires carrying only cash crashes mysteriously and cannot be found, now that the money is lost, what happens in the economy. Like how do the banks know how much money is gone and what do they do about it. Like mass inflation? Why can’t they just print an approximate Amount of money to fill up the system again, and if so what happens when they find the plane in a hundred years and the money comes back cuz now we have too much? This all came from wondering how they put the new coins with the kings face in without making the economy blow up, like I would assume they take the same amount of money that are idk too old or something and replace it with the same amount of new money but in that case how do they know and what do they do with the old coins now that they’re out of circulation. If anyone can answer my questions pls help. I might reply to your answer with more questions sorry lmao.10

We were content as a family and doing well with our salary level. But my wife, a firefighter, was off from work for over a year due to an incident at work. As this was a Worker's Compensation case, she was not permitted to look for employment at this time. It didn't take long to deplete our funds because we had six kids. This coincided with the period of the greatest bull run in the history of the Bitcoin market, at which time everyone was searching for and receiving offers to invest in Bitcoin and make substantial profits from home. We really tried twice to accomplish this, which required us to use valuable assets to make the upfront payment, but things didn't work out. The second company actually vanished and deactivated their website. Very annoying. After reaching out to a lawyer, we were advised to seek the help of a crypto recovery company, which we ultimately decided not to pursue. You may appreciate my concerns after we lost our money twice and I was unable to trust anything online again that it took me two attempts to even consider it. Upon my wife's eventual agreement, we pushed hard to locate a reliable cryptocurrency recovery firm that would eventually help us get our money back. A review for WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY SERVICES ( wizardjamesrecovery @ use. com) caught our attention one day. The fact that he was Gephardt Approved fascinated us. He assured us that he could help and carefully addressed our queries after speaking with James. He keeps his word and will provide us with an update the following day to keep us informed. When the money was finally extracted from both businesses and we had the money in our account, he celebrated with us. He was well worth the money we spent, but this is not an overnight remedy. Life has been fantastic, my wife has returned to work, and I am incredibly grateful right now. Much obliged. You can reach WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY SERVICES by WhatsApp (+ 4 4 7 4 1 8 3 6 7 2 0 4) at this number as well. He can assist you.

It all started when I was lured into investing by an FX trader I met on Instagram. The trader seemed professional and confident, sharing stories of massive returns from their investments. They promised that I could make five times that back within seven days by investing a certain amount. The offer was too good to pass up, and it was a golden opportunity to grow my money. After all, the trader had proof of their success and seemed trustworthy. I decided to invest, and over the next five weeks, I paid a total of $7,200 to the trader's company. Each time I tried to withdraw my funds or the supposed earnings I’d accumulated, they came up with new excuses and reasons why I needed to pay more money before I could access my earnings. They claimed I had to cover additional fees, taxes, or "security deposits" before processing my withdrawal. At first, I hesitated, but with every new claim, they made it seem like I had no other choice if I wanted to see my money again. It was a frustrating and confusing process, and each time I questioned them, they reassured me that I would get my money soon. Eventually, I realized I had been scammed. I was fed up and desperate, but I didn’t know what to do. That’s when, luckily, I stumbled upon a post from someone who had gone through a similar situation. They recommended a company called Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a group of crypto recovery experts who specialize in helping people recover lost funds from fraudulent investment schemes. At first, I was hesitant. After all, I’d already been deceived once, and I wasn’t sure if I could trust another company. However, I decided to take the risk and contacted Tech Cyber Force Recovery. New investors should be cautious about where they choose to trade, as there are many scammers out there who are willing to do whatever it takes to steal your money. I, unfortunately, learned this lesson the hard way. I was initially attracted to a trading platform that promised high returns with little risk, which sounded too good to be true. At first, everything seemed legitimate, but soon I realized things weren’t as they seemed. At first, my account was growing slowly, and I felt encouraged to contribute more. However, things took a turn when I was asked to make additional payments and even pay taxes on earnings that hadn’t actually been realized. At that point, I started to question the situation. Why was I being asked to pay more money when I hadn’t even been able to withdraw any of the funds? When I attempted to withdraw my money, I faced numerous obstacles, and I realized something was wrong. The platform seemed to be designed to trap users, making it almost impossible to recover funds. Feeling helpless and frustrated, I started researching how to get my money back. That’s when I came across CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES. RECOVER YOUR STOLEN CRYPTO OR MONEY LOST TO SCAMMERS WITH A LEGIT RECOVERY EXPERT = DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
I am a religious man here in Lakewood, and I believe in honesty, integrity, and fairness in all aspects of life. Recently, however, I found myself caught in a situation that tested my faith in these values, as I was taken advantage of by an online broker. I started by depositing $10,850 into my trading account and, through careful and honest efforts, managed to grow it to $37,961. However, when I requested to withdraw my profits, I was met with resistance. The broker denied my withdrawal request without offering any explanation, and worse, they withheld the full amount of my profit, effectively locking me out of my own money.I reached out to the broker multiple times through email and their official Telegram support, but all my attempts to get answers were ignored. This silence was not only frustrating, but it also raised serious red flags. I felt helpless and uncertain, as I had no clear way of resolving the issue or even getting a response. After exhausting all my options with the broker, I decided to take action. I reached out to Digital Hack Recovery, a company that specializes in helping people recover funds from fraudulent brokers. They took on my case and worked diligently on my behalf, ultimately helping me recover my money, including the full amount of my profits. While I am thankful to have my funds returned, the experience has left me deeply disappointed. As a person of faith, I believe in fairness, and seeing such unethical behavior firsthand was a harsh reminder of the risks involved in dealing with brokers who may not operate with transparency or integrity.I want to share this story as a warning to others. If you’re considering doing business with an online broker, be cautious and vigilant. There are those out there who will take advantage of you, and when you try to defend your rights, they will simply ignore you. I also believe that anyone who continues to support or defend such brokers should be held accountable for enabling this type of fraud. We all have a responsibility to stand against injustice and ensure that those who act unethically face consequences for their actions. The money I invested was meant for something incredibly important—my wedding. After months of saving, I had finally accumulated enough to make the day truly special. Wanting to grow this fund, I came across a crypto site called Abcfxb.pro, which promised daily returns through “AI crypto arbitrage trading.” They claimed they could deliver 1% returns on my investment every day, and I saw this as an opportunity to multiply my savings quickly. I thought it was the perfect way to ensure I’d have enough to cover all the wedding expenses. For the first few days, everything seemed perfect. I saw the promised returns and was able to withdraw money without any issues. It felt like a legitimate opportunity, and I was excited as my wedding fund grew. However, things took a turn when I tried to withdraw again. The site claimed that my account balance had fallen below their liquidity requirement and asked me to deposit more funds to proceed. Reluctantly, I deposited more money, believing it was just a minor issue. But the situation only worsened. I was then told that my withdrawal would take 50 days due to “blockchain congestion.” I wasn’t too concerned at first, thinking it was just a delay. But after 50 days, I still hadn’t received my funds, and they gave me the same excuse. Desperate, I contacted the site again, only to be informed that I would need to pay a 15% fee for “technical support” from the “Federal Reserve’s blockchain regulator” before I could withdraw my money. By now, I realized I had fallen victim to a scam. As I researched further, I found that others had been scammed in the same way, and the scammers had moved to another site with nearly the same layout. It was then that I came across a review from another victim, who explained how Best Web Wizard Recovery had helped him recover his lost funds. Desperate for a solution, I reached out to Best Web Wizard Recovery. To my relief, they responded quickly and professionally. Within six hours, they had successfully recovered my full investment. I was beyond grateful, especially since the money had been intended for my wedding. Thanks to their help, I was able to not only get my money back but also go ahead with my wedding as planned. It was a day I will always cherish, and I owe it to Best Web Wizard Recovery for helping me make it a reality. I highly recommend their services to anyone who has fallen victim to a crypto scam.1 -

Investing €40,000 in cryptocurrency through Get Forex com seemed like a smart move until I tried to withdraw my funds At the time, cryptocurrency seemed like a golden opportunity to secure my financial future I had heard countless success stories of people making substantial profits in the market Confident in my decision, I invested, believing that I was making a well-informed choice But little did I know, this decision would lead me into a nightmare that would take months to unravel. For two agonizing months, my money was locked away. Every attempt to recover it was met with delays, excuses, and even demands for more money to "release" my withdrawal Each day felt like an emotional rollercoaster I would contact customer support, hoping for a resolution, only to receive vague responses or worse no response at all It soon became clear that I had fallen victim to a scam The platform had no intention of returning my funds I was devastated, confused, and feeling helpless. As the weeks dragged on, I tried everything I contacted customer support multiple times, but their responses were always vague and unhelpful I followed their unclear instructions, hoping that it would finally lead to my money being released I even researched legal options and consulted with professionals, but no matter what I did, I was unable to make any progress It was as if the scammers were one step ahead at all times My frustration grew, and the thought that I might never see my €40,000 again weighed heavily on me. Just when I thought my money was gone forever, a friend who had experienced something similar recommended Tech Cyber Force Recovery. At that point, I was skeptical but also desperate. I had tried everything, and nothing had worked. What did I have to lose? I decided to give them a chance, though I had serious doubts about whether they could help me recover my funds. To my amazement, Tech Cyber Force Recovery acted swiftly and professionally, Their team launched a thorough investigation, keeping me updated at every step of the process They communicated transparently and regularly, making sure I was never left in the dark Within just five days, they successfully recovered my full €40,000 I couldn’t believe it after months of frustration, what had seemed impossible became reality The relief I felt was indescribable I could finally breathe again. SOUTHPOLE 5EYES HACKING AND RECOVERY SAVED MY LIFE (southpole5eyeshackingandrecoveringcompany.(com). My name is Jeff La Prova and I am from Milan, Italy. I want to share my story to help others who, like me, have suffered from a scam. A few years ago, I was the victim of a scam so devastating that it almost destroyed my life.
It all started with a young woman who claimed to be a soldier serving in Syria and Afghanistan. She seemed brave, honest, and compassionate. I trusted her. Over time, our bond grew and I fell deeply in love. So much so that I shared my Facebook password with her, thinking it was a gesture of trust. Little did I know that she would use this trust to take control of my account.
She convinced me to sell my house and send her all the money, promising me a new house, car, and a future together. For two years, I believed her promises, sacrificing everything I had. But one day, she vanished, like smoke in the wind. When I realized I had been scammed, I was devastated. My heart was broken, my finances were ruined, and my faith in humanity was completely gone. I was so bitter and broken that I couldn’t even look at women the same way anymore. I thought my life was over. Then, one day, I came across a review about Southpole 5Eyes Hacking and Recovery Company. I was skeptical at first. I had already been scammed once and the idea of trusting someone else seemed impossible. But something inside me told me to give them a chance. Desperation can take you to places you would never consider. I approached them hesitantly, not expecting much. But to my surprise, their team was professional, empathetic, and highly knowledgeable. They assured me that they could get my money back, and even though I was full of doubts, I decided to trust them. By the end of September, they kept their promise. They got a significant portion of my lost money back. Even though the scammer had already spent part of it, getting even half of it back was a miracle. Half a loaf is better than nothing, as they say. Today I am sharing my story to encourage others like me. If you have been scammed, do not lose hope. Contact Southpole 5Eyes Hacking and Recovery. They gave me my life back when I thought everything was lost. They are reliable, trustworthy and persistent in their mission to help victims of online scams. Be patient and believe in the process. I can assure you that they will fight for you. I am living proof that recovery is possible and because of them, I have started to rebuild my life. Don't let scammers win. Do as I did. How I Fell Victim to a Fake Trading Scam and Recovered My Money, This is a classic scam that I unfortunately fell victim to, and I want to share it to help others avoid the same fate. It all began with a young woman who seemed friendly and trustworthy. She initially caught my attention by talking about how much money she was making through a trading platform, claiming that her uncle had insider knowledge about when to trade. According to her, this “insider information” allowed her to make risk-free profits. At first, everything appeared legitimate. I made a few small gains, which only reinforced the illusion that this was a great opportunity. She encouraged me to deposit more funds, explaining that the more I invested, the higher my potential returns. As my balance grew, so did my trust in the platform and the woman who was guiding me. I was even able to withdraw small amounts of money early on, which further convinced me that everything was fine. But things quickly took a dark turn. When I tried to withdraw large sums, I was told that I couldn’t access my funds until I deposited even more money. My brokers and customer support became unresponsive, and the woman who had been so helpful in the beginning stopped replying to my messages. I was stuck, unable to withdraw my funds, and the pressure to deposit more kept mounting. I soon realized that I had been scammed. To make matters worse, they began pressuring me to take out loans and even mortgage my house to invest more. They painted a picture of even bigger profits, promising that I’d be able to withdraw everything once I deposited more money. But by that point, I had no more funds to invest, and when I tried to withdraw, I was blocked. It became clear that the whole operation was a trap designed to drain my money.Desperate to recover my lost funds, I reached out to a friend who recommended Digital Web Recovery. Their team acted quickly, working with the right authorities and providing professional support to recover my money. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to get back what I lost. Please, don't fall for these fake trading platforms. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, seek help immediately. CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY EXPERT DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
Fraudsters often use sophisticated tactics to scam people, pretending to be expert advisors in online trading. I experienced this firsthand with my trading account CR7(5673892) MT5. Initially, everything seemed legitimate, with promises of significant returns through expert advice. The fraudsters presented themselves as experienced traders, offering guidance on when to buy and sell, and their advice appeared to yield some profits at the beginning. This led me to believe I was making a sound investment. However, after a few successful trades, things took a worrying turn. The so-called account manager began pressuring me to invest even more money, telling me that without additional funds, I would risk losing everything. They encouraged me to deposit money into my account, making false claims that without a larger margin, I would miss out on potential profits. They even went as far as advising me to take out a loan on my credit card to fund the investments, capitalizing on my growing anxiety and desire to protect my initial investments. At this point, I realized something was wrong. The fraudsters continued to pressure me, constantly finding new ways to extract more money from me. They manipulated the situation, making it seem like my lack of additional funds would result in losing my gains and potential profits. But when I stopped investing, I saw that the balance of my account had become zero. It was as if all the money I had invested had disappeared without a trace. This left me frustrated, feeling hopeless, and unsure of what to do next.In my state of confusion and frustration, I reached out to a trusted colleague for advice. They recommended that I contact Digital Hack Recovery, a service known for its expertise in recovering funds from online scams. HOW TO RECOVER LOST FUNDS OR BITCOIN ON A FAKE INVESTMENT PLATFORM
This all happened just two weeks ago. I work at a club in Washington, DC, balancing my time between that and managing this financial recovery journey. I was caught in a web of deceit after being roped into an investment scheme by someone I met online. Initially, it seemed like an incredible opportunity. So, I decided to take the plunge and invested $30,000 into each platform, hoping to cash in on these “guaranteed” profits. The first few days passed without incident, and I started to feel confident that I was on the right track. However, as the 14-day period came to a close, my excitement quickly turned into frustration. Despite logging in to check on my funds, I couldn’t access any of my money. It was like my account had disappeared. Emails to customer service went unanswered, and any attempts to withdraw my earnings were met with a series of vague error messages. What I thought was a smart investment began to feel more like a nightmare. I was left completely stuck, unable to withdraw a single penny. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I had likely fallen victim to an online scam. Desperate and unsure where to turn, I reached out to a friend I met on TikTok, who had mentioned being in a similar situation before. They recommended that I get in touch with Folkwin Expert Recovery—a service they had used to recover their own lost funds from another shady platform. Skeptical but desperate, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the team at Folkwin Expert Recovery responded quickly and began to guide me through the process. They explained how common these types of scams were and assured me that they could help recover my money. After a financial commitment on my part, the team worked diligently to track down my lost funds. Within a few weeks, I had successfully recovered all of my $60,000.Thanks to ( FOLKWINEXPERTRECOVERY(@)TECH-CENTER. COM),Whatsapp/ +1 740-705-0711 I was not only able to get my money back but also received valuable advice on how to safely invest in cryptocurrency. They helped me understand which platforms are legitimate and how to avoid risky ventures in the future. The service they provided was truly invaluable, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their assistance. If you’ve found yourself in a similar situation caught up in a scam or unsure where to turn for help I highly recommend reaching out to Folkwin Expert Recovery the only solution, to recover lost or your stolen Crypto/Usd/Btc/Ethereum without falling victim to Scams....

HOW TO RECOVER MONEY LOST TO ONLINE SCAM HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
WhatsApp info:+12723 328 343
I remember spending countless hours poring over the intricacies of cryptocurrency trading, and so I took a leap of faith and invested, with due diligence done. With cautious optimism, I entered this world of digital currency, ready to convert knowledge into profit. My research led me to what looked like a completely legitimate broker: it had a slick website, amazing testimonials, and even an onboarding process that smoothly went through. Everything checked out, and soon I started making small, successful withdrawals. The early wins encouraged me to scale up-investing a hefty $250,000 worth of Bitcoin.
For some time, the profits rolled in, my account balance looked promising, and I had no issues making minor withdrawals. This perceived success became a cycle that gave me the confidence to leave my money in the platform, believing I was on the fast track to financial freedom. That illusion came crashing down the moment I tried to withdraw a more significant amount. Suddenly, I was locked out of my account. Every attempt to contact support was met with silence. That's when it really dawned on me: I had been sold out to some scam broker, a fraudster who had wooed me with some initial successes just to grab everything when I lowered my defenses. Panic set in, but I was not going to give up. Determined to recover my funds, I hit the internet in search of a solution down to forums and reviews. That's where I came across ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST. The stories of how they recovered money from victims of crypto scams inspired me, so I had to reach out. HOW TO RECOVER LOST OR STOLEN USDT; RECOVER LOST BITCOIN AND CRYPTO ASSETS WITH CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
On the night of New Year's Eve, I found myself facing an unexpected and devastating situation that nearly ruined my entire year. I logged into my account to check my positions only to realize something was terribly wrong. I couldn't access my account. Panic set in as I tried repeatedly to log in. When I finally managed to regain access, I was horrified to see that 30,000 Euros had been transferred to an unknown account in Dallas. My heart sank as the reality of the situation hit me. The money I had worked so hard for was gone. And then, it hit me like a punch to the stomach: My ex-girlfriend, who knew about my trading activities, must have somehow obtained my password and accessed my account. She had transferred the funds to her new boyfriend in Dallas, leaving me feeling not only financially devastated but also personally betrayed. I felt a wave of helplessness wash over me. How could she do this? And how was I going to recover such a large sum of money? In my desperation, I reached out to a close friend, hoping she could offer some advice. After hearing my story, she immediately told me about a team called Cyber Constable Intelligence. She mentioned reading multiple success stories on Quora where people in similar situations had been able to recover stolen funds with the help of this team. She reassured me that they were known for handling complex cases like mine, and I decided to take a leap of faith and contact them. From the moment I reached out to Cyber Constable Intelligence, I knew I had made the right choice. The team was professional, compassionate, and immediately got to work on my case. I explained the situation how my ex-girlfriend had stolen my password and transferred the money to her new boyfriend in Dallas. Without hesitation, they reassured me that they had the tools and expertise to recover the funds. Cyber Constable Intelligence utilized advanced forensic techniques, including blockchain analysis and cyber forensics, to trace the stolen funds. Within days, they were able to track the transfer to its final destination and pinpoint the location of the money in Dallas. They collaborated with local authorities to freeze the account and recover the 30,000 Euros. The team at Cyber Constable Intelligence gave me a renewed sense of security, and I now move forward with greater confidence in my trading journey, knowing that they have my back.

My neighbor, Alex, was someone who always seemed to have it all together. He had luxurious cars, a mansion in Beverly Hills worth over a million euros, and a lifestyle that many admired. His success appeared effortless, and I often wondered how he had achieved such wealth. One evening, after running into him at the local bar, I decided to reach out to him for some advice. Over a few drinks, Alex shared his experiences with investments and how he had made a fortune in the world of crypto. He spoke confidently about Bitcoin investments, promising me high returns with minimal risk. His words sounded too good to be true, but his success and reputation in the neighborhood made me believe him. Trusting him as a neighbor and someone I thought I knew well, I decided to invest a significant amount of money 100,000 USD into Bitcoin through his guidance on a platform called BitMoney com Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for me to realize I had been scammed. The investment was nothing but a Ponzi scheme, and I lost all my money. I felt devastated and helpless, unsure of what to do next. That’s when I turned to Alice, a close friend of mine who works as a police officer here in Beverly Hills. She had faced a similar issue with an online investment scam in the past and was struggling to recover her lost funds. Alice listened to my story and shared her own experience, explaining how difficult it had been to recover money from such scams. She recommended that I try ASSET RESCUE SPECIALIST, a company that had helped her and others in similar situations. Alice spoke highly of them, describing their professionalism and dedication in helping victims of fraud. Based on her recommendation, I decided to reach out to ASST RESCUE SPECIALIST, The process of contacting ASSET RESCUE SPECIALISTS was simple. Within hours, I was speaking with one of their specialists. They thoroughly explained the steps they would take to investigate my case and recover my funds. Throughout the process, they kept me updated and reassured me that they were doing everything they could to help. Thanks to ASSET RESCUE SPECIALIST, I not only regained my money but also learned important lessons about online security. I'm incredibly grateful to Alice for recommending ASSET RESCUE SPECIALIST to me. Her support and the company's expertise were instrumental in helping me recover my funds. On May 12, 2024, I made a significant decision to deposit $14,200 into crypto chain io, a choice I would soon come to regret. Almost immediately after completing the transaction, an uneasy feeling began to set in. Concerned, I reached out to their support team to confirm the status of my deposit, but my inquiries went unanswered. As the days passed, my anxiety increased. By May 16, just four days later, I noticed that the funds had not been credited to my account. Panic started to take hold as my emails were either ignored or met with a single, dismissive response: “Processing takes time.” No timeline was provided, and there was no transparency. It became painfully obvious that I had fallen victim to a scam. For the next six long months, I fought relentlessly to recover my lost money. Every attempt to contact crypto chain was met with silence and evasion, leaving me feeling more and more helpless and frustrated. The lack of meaningful communication only deepened my despair. I spent countless hours trying to reach out through various channels, but every effort was futile. With each passing day, the reality that I might never see my money again became harder to ignore. Just when I thought all hope was lost, a breakthrough came on November 8, 2024. While browsing comments on X (formerly Twitter) during discussions about the U.S. general election, I stumbled upon a post praising a company called Salvage Asset Recovery. Intrigued and desperate for help, I contacted them the same day. To my relief, their team responded quickly, demonstrating genuine commitment to helping me. They launched a thorough investigation into crypto chain Io's operations, delving deep to uncover the truth behind the fraudulent activities. Their expertise and determination reignited my hope. By November 22, 2024, my perseverance was rewarded. Salvage Asset Recovery successfully traced and reclaimed my entire $14,200, exposing the fraudulent practices of the platform in the process. I was overwhelmed with gratitude, knowing I had finally recovered what I had lost. It was all thanks to the support of Salvage Asset Recovery. Their Contact info,
